    Abstract: A vehicle includes a gas turbine engine having at least two spools and an associated power system. The power system includes two independent power subsystems, including a first power subsystem for managing power transfer between spools and a second power subsystem for supplying a base power load to the vehicle. The first power subsystem has a first electric machine mechanically coupled with a first spool of the gas turbine engine and a second electric machine mechanically coupled with a second spool. The second electric machine is electrically coupled with the first electric machine such that electrical power is transmittable therebetween. The second power subsystem has a third electric machine mechanically coupled with one of the spools. The third electric machine is electrically coupled with a load positioned offboard the gas turbine engine. The first power subsystem and the second power subsystem are electrically decoupled from one another.

    Abstract: An electrical power unit is disclosed. The electrical power unit includes a controller configured to generate a first control signal based on a first operational state of an engine, a multiphase electrical machine including a plurality of three-phase windings; and an electrical power conditioning subunit operatively coupled to the controller, where the electrical power conditioning subunit comprises a plurality of converters, where at least one converter is electrically coupled to a corresponding three-phase winding of the plurality of three-phase windings based on the first control signal, and where the electrical power conditioning subunit is configured to transmit a first electrical power from the at least one converter to the corresponding three-phase winding, where the multiphase electrical machine is configured to generate a mechanical power based on the first electrical power and rotate a crankshaft operatively coupled to the engine based on the generated mechanical power to start the engine.

The switching circuit includes a first stage, a second stage, a decoupling inductor, a decoupling capacitor, and a semiconductor switch coupled between the first stage and the second stage. The first stage is configured to be coupled to a first bus. The second stage is configured to be coupled to a second bus. The decoupling inductor is coupled to the second stage, and the decoupling capacitor is coupled to the first stage.     Abstract: A filtering unit is presented. The filtering unit includes at least two operational amplifiers, where each of the at least two operational amplifiers includes an input end and an output end, where the input end of one operational amplifier is coupled across the corresponding input end of another operational amplifier of the at least two operational amplifiers.
