摘要: A multiple contact connector interfaces between an implanted medical device and an implanted cable or lead. A connector connects between multiple implanted leads, each of which has multiple independent conductors. The connection system is a planar array of male connector pins on one portion, and a matching array of female connector receptacles on a second portion. Alignment via alignment features and pressing together the portions allows pins to engage with the receptacles providing a secure electrical connection. Sealing features on the connector apparatus seal out external fluids and isolate fluid present in the connector apparatus prior to mating, which electrically isolates each pin and its corresponding receptacle from other pin and receptacle pairs. Latching features retains the relative position of the pins, receptacle, and the positioning of the fluid seals, and is reversible for removal of the connector.

摘要: A method of identifying discontinuities in the surface of a substrate is herein disclosed. An object plane of an imaging system is positioned at a focal position associated with a discontinuity and an image is captured, the discontinuity having a relatively higher contrast with respect to the remainder of the surface of the substrate. The discontinuity is thereby more readily discernable than when the focal plane is positioned at the surface of the substrate. Analysis of discontinuities may include the extraction of discontinuity characteristics.

摘要: The invention is a security bracket for a retail display. The security bracket has guide pins extending laterally outwardly from each side of a base member. Sliding blocks are mounted to each pair of guide pins. The sliding block also carries a vertical arm that may be adjusted upwardly or downwardly. Adjustment of the sliding blocks relative to a hand-held allows the security bracket to be used for mounting hand-helds with different footprints to a retail display.

摘要: A body cooling assembly for cooling parts of a body includes a belt that is extendable around a waist. A housing is mounted on the belt includes a top wall, a bottom wall and a perimeter wall that extends between and is attached to the top and bottom wall. The housing has a first aperture and a second aperture for taking in and expelling air. A cooling unit is mounted in the housing. When actuated the cooling unit draws air into the housing, cools the air and dispends the cold air outwardly. A plurality of tubes is fluidly coupled to the housing and in thermal communication with the cooling unit such that air moves through the cooling unit and exits the housing through the tubes. The tubes are positionable on parts of a body and have a plurality of vent holes wherein each tube releases air.
