摘要: A modulating device capable of generating an OFDM signal and having a drastically improved frequency use efficiency. The modulating device has modulators (6, 8 (11, 13, 106, 108, 111, 113)) for modulating a signal to be modulated and having a Nyquist roll-off frequency characteristic with a carrier frequency having a difference two times the Nyquist frequency and combiners (10(15, 110, 115)) for generating modulation output having a speed two times that of the signal to demodulated and the same Nyquist roll-off slope as the signal to be modulated by combining the outputs of the modulators (6, 8 (11, 13, 106, 108, 111, 113)). Thus a double speed wave can be superposed on the same frequency without varying the roll-off slope of the Nyquist characteristic, and therefore an OFDM signal (19) having a drastically improved frequency use efficiency is provided.

摘要: A modulation apparatus is disclosed that enables significant improvements in signal transmission rate in a limited frequency band as compared with conventional modulation schemes. The modulation apparatus has first and second frequency-increasing single side band (SSB) modulators. The modulators are configured to have respective carrier frequencies with a difference by a frequency corresponding to the symbol frequency (i.e. fundamental frequency of the input symbol). An adder combines a lower side band (LSB) signal obtained from the SSB modulator set for a higher carrier frequency, and an upper side band (USB) signal obtained from the SSB modulator set for a lower carrier frequency to obtain a modulation signal.

摘要: A modulation apparatus is disclosed that enables great improvements in signal transmission rate in a limited frequency band as compared with conventional modulation schemes. Modulation apparatus 100 has first and second frequency-increasing SSB modulators 110 and 120. The modulators 110 and 120 are configured to have respective carrier frequencies with a difference by a frequency corresponding to the reciprocal of the symbol rate (i.e. fundamental frequency of the input symbol). Adder 130 combines a LSB signal obtained from the SSB modulator 120 set for a higher carrier frequency, and a USB signal obtained from the SSB modulator 110 set for a lower carrier frequency to obtain a modulation signal.

摘要: A transmitter device is capable of preventing error detection of a data resource area as a result of a detection mistake of a control signal. In the device, a control unit sets, as data resource areas, only PRBs that have been imparted with numbers greater than a number that has been imparted to a PRB for which has been set a control resource area for which a downlink assignment control signal (that is, a DL grant) has been mapped. In this manner, at a terminal, if the PRB for which a downlink assignment control signal has been detected can be identified, the data resource area can be identified directly, and therefore, it is possible to prevent error detection for the data resource area as a result of a detection mistake of an uplink assignment control signal.

摘要: Provided are a base station, a terminal whereby erroneous detection of control information can be reduced to prevent the degradation of the system throughput. A PDCCH generation unit (104) forms a downstream allocation control information unit (i.e., DCI) including cyclic redundant check (CRC) bits, which have been masked or scrambled by use of ID information of a terminal (200), and further including a bit sequence (i.e., virtual CRC) known between the terminal (200) and the base station; and an allocation unit (108) and a multiplex unit (109) map the formed DCI to a resource region (i.e., R-PDCCH region) that can be used as any one of a downstream control channel region and a downstream data channel region. That is, the PDCCH generation unit (104) includes the virtual CRC into the DCI only when the DCI addressed to the terminal (200) is mapped to the R-PDCCH region.

摘要: Method of scrambling signals, transmission point device and user equipment using the method are provided. The method is for scrambling signals assigned on predetermined radio resources of at least one layer of resource blocks with the same time and frequency resources, and comprises the steps of: sending an ID table to a user equipment through higher layer signaling, the ID table being a subset of the whole ID space and containing available IDs for the user equipment; notifying the user equipment an ID in the ID table to be used through physical layer signaling or UE specific higher layer signaling; generating a random seed based on the notified ID; initializing a scrambling sequence by the random seed; and scrambling the signals with the initialized scrambling sequence. The method of the disclosure, by combining physical layer signaling and higher layer signaling, may notify the used group ID and the blind detection space to a UE, the blind detection for the UE is enabled and the signaling overhead is reduced.
