摘要: Apparatus and methods for unified high-bandwidth, low-latency data services. In one embodiment, a network architecture having service delivery over at least portions of extant infrastructure (e.g., a hybrid fiber coaxial infrastructure) is disclosed, which includes standards-compliant ultra-low latency and high data rate services (e.g., 5G NR services) via a common service provider. In one variant, parallel MIMO data streams supported by 3GPP 5G NR are shifted in frequency before being injected into the single coaxial cable feeder, so that frequency diversity (instead of spatial diversity) is leveraged to achieve the maximum total carrier bandwidth that 3GPP 5G NR chipsets. 摘要: Apparatus and methods for unified high-bandwidth, low-latency data services provided with enhanced user mobility. In one embodiment, a network architecture having service delivery over at least portions of extant infrastructure (e.g., a hybrid fiber coax infrastructure) is disclosed, which includes standards-compliant ultra-low latency and high data rate services (e.g., 5G NR services) via a common service provider. Premises devices are used to provide the 5G-based services to users at a given premises and thereabouts. In another variant, local area (e.g., “pole mounted”) radio devices are used to provide supplemental RF coverage, including during mobility scenarios. The 5G-capable network enables uninterrupted and “seamless” exchange of data at a client device by utilizing a common waveform protocol (e.g., 3GPP-based) at a premises device and an external radio device to communicate with a client device at different locations and times while the device is moving between inside and outside the premises.

摘要: A transmission apparatus includes a signal processing circuit and a transmission circuit. The signal processing circuit generates a first precoded signal and a second precoded signal by performing a precoding process on a first baseband signal and a second baseband signal, and generates a second reversed signal by performing an order reversion process on a symbol sequence forming the second precoded signal thereby generating a first transmission signal and a second transmission signal from the first baseband signal and the second baseband signal. The transmission circuit transmits the first transmission signal and the second transmission signal respectively from different antennas.

摘要: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a new radio (NR) single symbol design in which reference signals and data tones are frequency division multiplexed (FDM). In a particular aspect of the disclosure, a different encoding sequence is assigned to each possible value of an information element (IE) such that a minimum distance between encoding sequences corresponding to any pair of possible values is maximized. A symbol corresponding to a particular value of the IE is then transmitted. Here, the symbol is configured according to a sequence selected from a set of sequences corresponding to the particular value of the IE, such that the symbol comprises a plurality of reference signals FDM with a plurality of FDM resource elements.

摘要: The present invention provides a method of transmitting broadcast signals. The method includes, encoding Data Pipe, DP, data according to a code rate, wherein the encoding further includes Low-Density Parity-Check, LDPC, encoding the DP data, Bit interleaving the LDPC encoded DP data, and mapping the bit interleaved DP data onto constellations; building at least one signal frame by mapping the encoded DP data; and modulating data in the built signal frame by an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing, OFDM, method and transmitting the broadcast signals having the modulated data.

摘要: An apparatus for transmitting broadcast signals includes an encoder to encode service data, a framing block to map the encoded service data into data symbols to build at least one signal frame, a frequency interleaver to frequency interleaving data in the at least one signal frame by using an interleaving sequence, a modulator to perform a modulation on the frequency interleaved data by the OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex) scheme and a transmitter to transmit the broadcast signals having the modulated data. A different interleaving sequence is used for two consecutive data symbols corresponding to an OFDM symbol pair or a data symbol corresponding to an OFDM symbol according to an FFT size of the modulation.
