    摘要： A pressure sensitive adhesive composition is described, comprising the reaction product of a copolymer and a bisamide crosslinking agent, (A) the copolymer comprising the reaction product of (i) a (meth)acrylate ester of a non-tertiary alcohol in which the alkyl group contains between 1 and 4 carbon atoms, inclusive, and (ii) a carboxylic acid-functional, ethylenically unsaturated co-monomer, and (B) a bisamide crosslinking agent having the formula: where, R1 and R3 independently, are selected from the group consisting of H and CnH2n+1, n is an integer ranging from 1 to 5, R2 is a divalent radical selected from the group consisting of benzeno (—C6H4—), substituted benzeno, triazine, CmH2m, and combinations thereof, m is an integer ranging from 1 to 10, and the relative amounts of the carboxylic acid-functional, ethylenically unsaturated co-monomer and the bisamide crosslinking agent providing a ratio of the number of equivalents of amide groups to the number of equivalents of carboxylic acid groups of less than about 0.1. Articles made with the pressure sensitive adhesive composition and methods for its use are also described.

    摘要： A tackified composition comprising (a) a polydiorgannosiloxane polyurea segmented copolymer comprising the reaction product of (i) at least one polyaminie, wherein the polyamine comprises at least one polydiorganosiloxane diamine, or a mixture of at least one polydiorganosiloxane diamine and at least one organic polyamine, and (ii) at least one polyisocyanate, wherein the mol ratio of isocyanate to amined is between 0.9:1 and 0.95:1 or between 1.05:1 and about 1.3:1, and (b) silicate resins. The tackified compositions are useful as pressure sensitive adhesives, particularly for foamed backing tapes, medical tapes and the like, hot melt adhesives, vibration dampers, anti-corrosive materials.

    摘要： Tackified compositions comprise a curable polydiorganosiloxane oligourea segmented copolymer which has alternating soft polydiorganosiloxane units and hard diisocyanate residues, the diisocyanate residue being the diisocyanate minus the —NCO groups. The units are connected together by urea linkages and the copolymer has end groups that are reactive under free radical or moisture cure conditions, and silicate resin. Also provided are pressure-sensitive adhesives, hot melt adhesives, and vibration damping composites, vibration damping constrained layer constructions, a bi-directional vibration damping constrained layer constructions, vibration damping shaped articles as well as a method of vibrationally damping an article and processes for producing curable vibration damping material.

    摘要： Melt-processable polydiorganosiloxane polyurea segmented copolymer compositions are provided. The compositions comprise alternating soft polydiorganosiloxane units and hard diisocyanate residue units, the diisocyanate residue being the diisocyanate minus the —NCO groups, the units being connected together by urea linkages which also provide hard units. The compositions are prepared by continuously providing at least one diisocyanate and at least one polydiorganosiloxane diamine to a reactor, mixing the diisocyanate and the polydiorganosiloxane diamine in the reactor under substantially solvent-free conditions, allowing the diisocyanate and polydiorganosiloxane diamine to react to form a polydiorganosiloxane polyurea copolymer, and conveying the copolymer from the reactor.
