    摘要: A developer device for electrostatic copiers includes a housing in which toner is circulated. The circulating toner is dropped in free fall at a predetermined location. Underneath that location are two side-by-side lengthwise extending channels into which the falling toner is substantially uniformly distributed. Guide baffles in one channel direct the incoming toner along the channel in one direction, and guide baffles in the other channel direct toner in the opposite direction.

    摘要: A vacuum system for use in a vehicle having a brake system including a vacuum servomotor assisted master cylinder is disclosed wherein the vacuum system includes the engine intake pipe connected to the vacuum servomotor and a fuel enrichment device for enrichening the air drawn from the vacuum servomotor during slip control braking. The enrichment device includes the choke of a conventional carburetor and a servomotor for closing the choke during brake slip control. Alternatively fuel is injected into the air intake of the engine during brake slip control.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method and a device for three-dimensionally determining the refractive index and, if necessary, the layer thickness of transparent or partially transparent layers in which the layer (1) is irradiated at different angles of incidence (5) with polarised light, and variations in the polarisation of the light are measured and evaluated as the light passes through the layer (1). The method is characterised in that the measurement is carried out through an immersion medium (3) between which the layer (1) is inserted. A highly accurate determination of the refractive index of anisotropic thin layers in all three spatial directions is made possible by this method.

    摘要: A valve arrangement has a housing in which are arranged an electromagnetically actuatable pilot valve controlling a differential pressure and a main valve actuatable by the differential pressure, the closure member of the main valve permitting a connection to be established between an outlet port and, alternatively, a first or a second inlet port. In order to keep the overall length of the valve arrangement as small as possible, the present invention provides a joint axis (29) of the pilot valve (5) and of the electromagnet (6) actuating the pilot valve (5) which is perpendicular to the axis (30) of the main valve (7) in a plane that is radially offset relative to the axis (30). In the inactive position, both compartments (23, 24) are exposed to the higher pneumatic pressure.
