Abstract: A trim ring gear for use in an integrated drive generator has a ring gear body extending between a first end and a second end. Outer gear teeth are formed on an outer surface, and inner gear teeth are formed on an inner surface. The outer tooth roll angle at A is between 16.0 and 17.5°, at B is between 17.5 and 190°, at C is between 22.0 and 23.5°, and at D is between 23.0 and 24.5°. The inner tooth roll angle at A is between 31.5 and 33.0°, at B is between 30.0 and 31.5°, at C is between 25.5 and 27.0°, and at D is between 24.0 and 25.5°. An integrated drive generator, and a method of replacing the trim ring gear are also disclosed and claimed.

A sixth zone includes three bolt hole ears and one alignment pin ear. Each of the bolt hole ears includes a bolt hole, and each of the oil passage ears includes an oil passage hole. An integrated drive generator and a method are also disclosed.

An annular cavity is defined between an inner surface of an inner bore of the disconnect shaft and an outer surface of a radially inner portion of the disconnect shaft. A generator and a method are also disclosed.

Abstract: A rectifier assembly according to an example of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a first housing and a second housing extending along an assembly axis, the first housing surrounding a pair of electrical rings. At least one spring strip includes a first spring strip portion transverse to a second spring strip portion, the second spring strip portion to bias diodes against an inner periphery of the pair of electrical rings. The second housing includes at least one connection terminal for receiving a wire from an exciter rotor, the at least one connection terminal including a screw threaded area which receives a bolt holding the first spring strip portion. A generator and a method of assembling a rectifier assembly are also disclosed.

Abstract: A gas turbine engine is provided, comprising a tail cone and a low-pressure spool outside the tail cone. An input shaft may be coupled to the low-pressure spool and inside the tail cone. A differential may be coupled to the input shaft and inside the tail cone. A generator may be coupled to the differential and also disposed inside the tail cone. An oil pump may be configured to pump oil through the generator to the differential. A generator assembly is also provided. The generator assembly may comprise an input shaft, a differential coupled to the input shaft, a rotating transfer tube coupled to the differential, a generator coupled to rotating transfer tube, and an oil pump configured to pump oil from the generator, through the rotating transfer tube, and into the differential.
