摘要: A control system for a three-dimensional printer includes an energy component interface, an agent depositing component interface, and control logic. The control logic controls the operation of an energy component through the energy component interface and an agent depositing component through the agent depositing component, in forming an output object that is specified in a print job. Additionally, in some examples, the control logic can implement a plurality of modes. Each mode, when selected modulate one or more operational parameters of a least one of the energy component or agent depositing component.

The first carriage and the second carriage are movable back and forth over the work area along the same line of motion so that the first carriage follows the second carriage in one direction and the second carriage follows the first carriage in the other direction.

摘要: According to examples, an apparatus may include a back panel to absorb energy and an energy emitter to supply energy onto a build material layer. The energy emitter may include an energy emitting element and an outer tube. In addition, a reflective element may be provided on a portion of the outer tube facing the back panel to direct energy away from the back panel. The apparatus may also include a transparent panel, in which energy from the energy emitter may be emitted through the transparent panel and onto the build material layer.

摘要: In one example, a processor readable medium having instructions thereon that when executed cause a fusing system for an additive manufacturing machine to, during a first carriage pass, preheat build material in a layer of unfused build material; during the first carriage pass and/or during a second carriage pass, dispense a liquid fusing agent on to preheated unfused build material in the layer and then, during the second carriage pass, irradiate build material in the layer on which the fusing agent has been dispensed with a fusing light; and during a third carriage pass, irradiate the fused build material with the fusing light; and during a fourth carriage pass, irradiate the fused build material with the fusing light and then actively cool the fused build material.

摘要: According to examples, an apparatus may include a processor and a memory on which is stored machine readable instructions that may cause the processor to identify a color of a portion of a 3D object to be fabricated from a 3D model and to determine, based on the identified color of the portion, a property of a thermal support, in which the property may affect a temperature of an area near build material particles used to form the portion. The instructions may cause the processor to instruct fabrication components to fabricate the thermal support having the determined property and the fabrication components to fabricate the 3D object. The thermal support may be fabricated at a location with respect to the portion to increase a temperature of a set of particles used to fabricate the portion during fabrication of the portion.

摘要: A printing system includes a printhead to eject ink onto a print medium in a print zone. A first roller pair is adjacent to the print zone to advance a print medium into the print zone. A second roller pair upstream from the first roller pair, and driven by an independent motor, advances the print medium to the first roller pair in a position control mode. A controller causes the second roller pair to switch from the position control mode to a force control mode when a leading edge of the print medium reaches the first roller pair. The second roller pair applies a substantially constant force to the print medium in the force control mode to push the leading edge of the print medium against the first roller pair while the first roller pair is stationary.
