    Abstract: An engine cooling system (22) includes an engine (11), an engine cooling pipe line (23), an engine water pump (24) and an engine radiator (25). An electricity storage device cooling system (27) includes an electricity storage device (19), an electricity storage device cooling pipe line (28), an electricity storage device water pump (29) and an electricity storage device radiator (31). Different heat-transfer media (engine cooling water and electricity storage device cooling water) flow respectively in the engine cooling system (22) and the electricity storage device cooling system (27). Further, a heating heat exchanger (32) is provided in the halfway of the engine cooling pipe line (23) and in the halfway of the electricity storage device cooling pipe line (28) for performing heat exchange between the engine cooling water and the electricity storage device cooling water.

    Abstract: A wheel loader includes a working device, a lift cylinder 152 which is a hydraulic actuator that drives the working device, a hydraulic pump 220 that supplies hydraulic oil to the lift cylinder 152, a lift cylinder bottom pressure detector 252 that detects a pressure of the lift cylinder 152, a control valve 221 that controls the amount of hydraulic oil to be supplied from the hydraulic pump 220 to the lift cylinder 152, a vehicle acceleration detector 254 that detects a vehicle acceleration in a longitudinal direction, and a control device 240. The control device 240 determines whether the working device has started excavation, or not, based on the lift cylinder bottom pressure detected by the lift cylinder bottom pressure detector 252 and the vehicle acceleration detected by the vehicle acceleration detector 254.

    Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide hybrid construction machinery in which a power storage apparatus can be warmed up quickly and a life of the power storage apparatus can be lengthened. The hybrid construction machinery includes: an electric motor assisting a prime mover in power and generating electric power; the power storage apparatus transferring electric power to and from the electric motor; a warm-up circuit circulating a warming medium in the vicinity of the power storage apparatus; and a control device controlling circulation of the warming medium in the warm-up circuit. The hybrid construction machinery is provided with on-board equipment state detection units that detect states of on-board equipment to estimate an output request for the power storage apparatus from the on-board equipment. The control device controls circulation of the warming medium based on a temperature of the power storage apparatus and a determination temperature for determining whether to circulate the warming medium in the warm-up circuit. The control device further varies the determination temperature according to a result of detection by the on-board equipment state detection units.
