摘要: The present invention is related to a fitting system for a bimodal hearing system, a method for fitting such a hearing system and a corresponding bimodal hearing system. The fitting system is operationally connectable to a hearing instrument (HI) and to an implantable device (CI) and comprises a first fitting software module (FSWHI) for fitting the hearing instrument (HI). Thereby the fitting system further comprises a second fitting software module (FSWCI) for fitting the implantable device (CI) by considering data of the hearing instrument (HI) received from the first fitting software module (FSWHI) via a data interface (DI) and/or vice versa.

摘要: A method of bone fixation comprises the steps of implanting at least one first fixation element into a respective first anatomical body such that a portion of the first fixation element extends out from an exterior surface of the first anatomical body, and implanting at least one second fixation element into a respective second anatomical body that is adjacent the first anatomical body, such that a portion of the second fixation element extends out from an exterior surface of the second anatomical body. A hardenable material is applied to the portion of each of the fixation elements that extends out from the exterior surface of the respective anatomical body when the hardenable material is in an unhardened state. The hardenable material is hardened such that the hardenable material forms a hardened construct together with the bone fixation elements that bridges the anatomical bodies.

摘要: A motor vehicle has a FlexRay bus. Values for operating parameters are stipulated for the FlexRay bus. The value for at least one selected operating parameter is obtained from an optimization method in which, on the basis of prescribed messages to be transmitted via the FlexRay, a plurality of values for the at least one selected operating parameter have an Allocation—associated with these values—of slots to the prescribed messages provided for them according to a predetermined rule, and a predetermined sequence of the allocation is rated according to a predetermined criterion.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a carrier housing for an internal combustion engine having an engine block with a V arrangement of cylinders and having a charging group, designed for two-stage charging. The carrier housing is designed to bear at least a number of components of the charging group, and is designed to be arranged on an upper face of the engine block in an intermediate space of the V arrangement. The carrier housing includes a bottom fastening mechanism for attaching the carrier housing to the upper face of the engine block, a charge air channel formed in the interior of the carrier housing for conducting the charge air of a high-pressure and/or low-pressure stage of the charging group, a cooling fluid channel formed in an interior of the carrier housing for conducting the cooling fluid of an exhaust gas recirculation of the charging group, a channel for coolant and a channel for lubricant formed in the interior of the carrier housing for the high-pressure and/or low-pressure stage of the charging group, and upper carrying elements for components of at least the high-pressure and/or low-pressure stage of the charging group.

摘要: An implant includes a section made of polymer, wherein at least a portion of the section has a layer of a polymerizable and/or cross-linkable material. A method for fixation of a bone plate having several plate holes using the implant includes removing a cover sheet protecting the layer of polymerizable and/or cross-linkable material, activating the layer of polymerizable and/or cross-linkable material with electromagnetic energy or with moisture, introducing the implant into one of the plate holes of the bone plate when the bone plate is positioned on a bone, pressing on an end of the implant in order to contact the activated layer of polymerizable and/or cross-linkable material with the bone underneath the bone plate, and allowing the activated and pressurized layer of polymerizable and/or cross-linkable material to polymerize and/or cross-link and to adhere to the bone.
