    摘要: The present invention provides a method for scheduling uplink transmission in a relay-based wireless communication system. The method comprises: estimating step for estimating equivalent uplink channels of respective users whose uplink transmission is performed via a same relay station; calculating step for calculating orthogonality between the equivalent channels of said users; selecting step for selecting a combination of virtual multiple input multiple output users from said users, wherein the equivalent channels of the users in said combination of virtual multiple input multiple output users is conformable to the requirement of orthogonality; and scheduling step for scheduling the respective users in said combination of virtual multiple input multiple output users to perform uplink transmission cooperatively with a same time or frequency resource. By the present invention, time or frequency resource can be effectively saved without apparently reducing system capacity when the system's radio resource is scarce, and a proper quality of the signal receiption at the base station side is maintained.

Since the feedback mechanism based on the codebook is employed in the collaborative MIMO system in the present invention to enable the BS to obtain the precoding information, the present invention can be used to the both TDD mode and FDD mode. Moreover, since the precoding vectors selected by the different mobile stations for a same BS are always orthogonal, multi-user co-channel interference can be reduced.

    摘要: The present invention provides a novel codebook-based multi-base station unite pre-coding scheme. In this invention, multiple cooperating base stations commonly transmit signals to a mobile terminal. The mobile terminal estimates a channel matrix of a unite MIMO channel from the multiple cooperating base stations, and selects the optimal pre-coding matrix index from the pre-coding matrix codebook based on the unite MIMO channel matrix and feeds it back to the multiple cooperating base stations. Each cooperating base station selects the optimal pre-coding matrix based on the received pre-coding matrix index and uses the corresponding portion of the pre-coding matrix to perform unite pre-coding on the data. Namely, the respective partial pre-coding matrixes as employed by all cooperating base stations together form the pre-coding matrix that is optimal to the mobile terminal, and the pre-coding matrix as used by respective cooperating base stations is a part of the optimal pre-coding matrix. By using the codebook-based multi-base station unite pre-coding scheme according to the present invention, the user performance is improved, the complexity of implementation is low, and the demand on network connecting the base stations is very low.

    摘要: A solution for multiple base station collaborative communication in TDD (Time Division Duplex) and FDD (Frequency Division Duplex) systems is provided. To be specific, a serving base station and coordinating base station transmit detection signals with specific Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) features on one or more communication resources. The mobile station measures the detection signals on the one or more communication resources and generates indication information of the recommended collaborative communication modes based on the measurement results. Preferably the indexes of the time-frequency resources corresponding to the recommended collaborative communication modes are reported to the serving base station. Then the serving base station schedules at least one of the one or more mobile stations according to the indication information reported by the one or more stations and provides MIMO communication manner for the mobile station scheduled. The coverage of the cells is improved, the cell edge user throughput is increased and the inter-cell interference between neighboring base stations is decreased by exploiting the invention. Preferably the amount of uplink feedback information is decreased and the uplink bandwidth is saved.
