摘要: The present invention addresses the problem of providing a novel heat stress relieving agent that can be taken easily, conveniently and safely even by infants and the elderly, who are susceptible to heat stress such as heat illness, that rapidly promotes sweating in a heat stress environment, and that prevents, alleviates, or improves symptoms and disorders caused by heat stress, such as heat illness. The above problem is solved by providing a heat stress relieving agent containing glycosyl hesperetin as an effective ingredient, and a basal body temperature maintaining agent containing glycosyl hesperetin as an effective ingredient.

摘要: The present invention aims to provide a novel glycosyl hesperetin, which is significantly reduced in miscellaneous tastes characteristic of conventional products containing glycosyl hesperetin, and a method for producing the same and uses thereof; and the objects are solved by providing a glycosyl hesperetin which comprises glycosyl hesperetin in an amount of 90% or more by mass but less than 100% by mass, on a dry solid basis, but it does not substantially contain furfural, and a method for producing the same and uses thereof.

摘要: The present invention aims to provide a saccharide composition suitable for a cyclic-tetrasaccharide-containing starch syrup which has low viscosity, low water activity, low coloration property, and low calorie content, and which is unlikely to cause precipitation of crystals of saccharides during storage, and to provide a use of the composition and a production method for the composition. The object is achieved by providing a cyclic-tetrasaccharide-containing saccharide composition having the following characteristics (1) to (3): (1) the saccharide composition includes a branched cyclic tetrasaccharide in addition to the cyclic tetrasaccharide, wherein the content of the cyclic tetrasaccharide with respect to the total solid content of the saccharide composition obtained by allowing glucoamylase and α-glucosidase to act on the above saccharide composition is 38% by mass or higher, on a dry solid basis; (2) the ratio of α-1,4-linked glucose in the total glucose residues constituting the saccharide composition in methylation analysis is over 9% and 15% or lower, and (3) the ratio of α-1,4,6-linked glucose in the total glucose residues constituting the saccharide composition in methylation analysis is less than 6%; and providing a use of the composition and a production method for the composition.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a novel agent for adjusting hardness of a lens of an eye which can be taken easily, conveniently, and safely for a long-term, can effectively adjust the hardness of the lens, and is capable of preventing, alleviating and improving poor focus and decreased near visual acuity, such as presbyopia, caused by aging and various diseases. The present invention solves the above object by providing an agent for adjusting hardness of a lens of an eye comprising a glycosyl hesperetin as an active ingredient.
