    摘要: A video relay circuit is provided including an input channel to receive input video data packets; a first circuit to convert the input video data packets into data for a display device; a second circuit coupled to the first circuit to retime, recondition and re-drive the data channels; an output channel to couple the video data packets into an output stream. Also provided is a video data transmission link including a video relay circuit as above and a daisy chain of video display devices including a video source; a plurality of video display devices wherein a first video display device is coupled to the source of video data, and each further video display device receives the source signal from the previous display and provides the video signal to the next display; wherein at least one of the video display devices comprises a video relay circuit as above.

    摘要: An integrated controller for an integrated display and touch panel and its associated method provide (a) a DisplayPort or embedded DisplayPort interface for communicating control and data signals for both display and touch functions between a host system and the integrated controller, wherein the touch control and data signals are communicated over an auxiliary channel of the DisplayPort or embedded DisplayPort interface; (b) a display panel interface for communicating display data and control signals between the integrated controller and a display monitor; (c) a touch panel interface for communicating touch data and control signals between the integrated controller and a touch panel; and (d) a control circuit which processes the display and touch control and data signals of the DisplayPort or embedded DisplayPort interface, the display data and control signals of the display panel interface and the touch data and control signals of the touch panel interface.

    摘要: A data transmission system is provided. The data transmission system includes a source device having a source device controller and a register and a sink device having a sink device controller. The data transmission system also includes a transmission link coupling the source device and the sink device. The transmission link includes a unidirectional main line having a plurality of main link channels, a bidirectional auxiliary line configured to transmit data between the source device and the sink device at a first data rate, and a unidirectional interrupt line. The transmission link is configured to transmit data from the source device to the sink device over one of the main link lines at a second data rate and to transmit data from the sink device to the source device over the auxiliary line at the second data rate. The transmission link may comply with the DisplayPort standard, and the data may be transmitted in accordance with the USB standard.

    摘要: A method is provided for creating and using a library of known logic elements for facilitating the design of equivalent FPGA, structured ASIC, or other integrated circuits. Each cell in the library corresponds to a circuit element and contains equivalent circuit models of the element for implementation in different integrated circuit technologies. The cells are named and indexed using a library cell key that contains a fixed set of cell properties which uniquely characterize the function of the cell. The cell key can be used to locate cells in the library or in circuit designs, and to verify that the circuit models contained in the cell implement the correct logic function.
