摘要: Motor vehicle comprises a combustion engine with internal combustion of fuel and/or cold-flame product for driving the motor vehicle and thereby producing exhaust gas and an auxiliary power unit comprising an external burner and an expansion machine. A fuel tank with fuel provides energy to the burner and the combustion engine. The motor vehicle has a cold-flame-reactor with means for feeding the fuel from the fuel tank to the cold-flame reactor, and at least a portion of the fuel is pre-combusted to a cold-flame product in the cold-flame reactor.

摘要: The invention relates to a combustion engine (14) for combusting a mixture of a fast burning gas with air in a combustion process generating mechanical and/or electrical power. The engine (14) comprises a cylinder (10; 36) and a piston movable within the cylinder between a top dead center and a bottom dead center (18). The piston (12; 34) and the cylinder form an expansion volume. An injection nozzle (20; 44) is provided for injecting the fast burning gas into the cylinder (10; 36). The cylinder and the piston form an additional cavity (24; 38) at said top dead center in which said fast burning gas is injectable. The shape of the cavity is adapted to the shape of the flame of the combustion process and its size is large enough that no combustion reactions occur at the walls of the cavity.

Said engine includes a low-temperature circuit, in which a first working medium is transported through a first heat exchanger and subsequently through the decompression device and a high-temperature circuit, in which a second working medium is transported through a second heat exchanger and subsequently through the decompression device. The first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger are located in the exhaust system of an internal combustion engine, and the internal combustion engine a coolant circuit can be used to heat the working mediums in separate collection containers.

摘要: In a steam motor with a piston engine, the piston engine is included in a closed steam circuit. This steam circuit includes a steam generator, a steam injector for injecting steam into the piston engine, a condenser for condensing the steam emerging from the piston engine to condensed water, and a water feeding pump for feeding the condensed water to the steam generator. The steam generator is heated by hot combustion gas from a combustion unit. The combustion unit burns fuel. The fuel is mixed with fresh air supplied by an air feeding device through a fresh air passage. The fresh air passage usually contains a first heat exchanger for pre-heating the fresh air by heat from the expanded steam emerging from the piston engine, and a second heat exchanger for pre-heating the fresh air by heat from hot waste gas emerging from the steam generator. In order to provide a particularly compact steam motor without adversely affecting the efficiency, a rotary piston engine is used as piston engine.

摘要: The invention relates to a drive system for motor vehicles comprising a waste heat-producing internal combustion engine and a circuit for draining off at least partially said waste heat with a working fluid which is relievable in an expansion machine, wherein said working fluid comprises several components, wherein at least one component is transferable into a gas phase by absorbing heat of the internal combustion engine and/or another source inside the drive system which also comprises means for separating the liquid fraction from the working fluid prior to the expansion machine pressure removal. The internal combustion engine can be cooled by a first cooling circuit. A second cooling circuit can be used in such a way that the first cooling circuit is cooled thereby.

摘要: A heat exchanger arrangement is provided for an internal-combustion engine having a heat engine, which converts hot steam of a working medium by way of an expansion device to kinetic energy. The working medium, that can be delivered by a pump, can be heated in a first heat exchanger by a coolant and in a second heat exchanger by an exhaust gas of the internal-combustion engine. In the delivery direction, the working medium first flows through the first heat exchanger and, subsequently, through the second heat exchanger. The exhaust gas can flow through the first heat exchanger.
