The receiver further includes a programmable degeneration component operably coupled to the RF splitter, and configured to provide a first performance characteristic in the first mode, and a second, different performance characteristic in the second mode, wherein the first and second performance characteristics influence an input impedance of the RF splitter to be substantially the same in the first and second modes.

    摘要: The disclosed invention relates to a transceiver system comprising a notch filter element configured to suppress transmitter blockers (i.e., transmitter interferer signals) within a reception path. In some embodiments, the transceiver front-end comprises a differential reception path, having a first differential branch and a second differential branch, configured to provide an RF differential input signal having a transmitter blocker to a transimpedance amplifier, comprising a first-order active filter and a notch filter element. The notch filter element comprises a stop band corresponding to a frequency of a transmitted signal, such that the notch filter element suppresses the transmitted blocker without degrading the signal quality of the received differential input signal.

    摘要: Some embodiments of the invention relate a transimpedance amplifier circuit having a negative feedback network that provides additional filtering of an out-of-band transmitted signal is provided herein. In one embodiment, the transimpedance amplifier circuit has a first pole, transimpedance amplifier having a multi-stage operational amplifier with an input terminal and an output terminal. An RC feedback network extends from the output terminal to the input terminal. A negative feedback network, extending from an internal node of the multi-stage operational amplifier to an input terminal of the single pole, transimpedance amplifier provides a negative feedback signal with an amplitude having an opposite polarity as the out-of-band transmitted signal. The negative feedback signal suppresses the out-of-band-transmitted signals within the demodulator circuit, thereby improving linearity of the transimpedance amplifier circuit.
