In an example, a usage monitoring service may receive a data change notification from a unified data repository. The data change notification is generated by the unified data repository in response to a data modification in subscriber data of a virtualized network instance. In an example, the data modification retrieved from the generated data change notification is utilized to obtain usage indication information for the virtualized network instance.

For example, the system can access slice information from multiple Policy Control Functions (PCFs) and determine analytics for multiple slices associated with a subscriber user/device or group of subscriber users/devices. Using the enhanced CHF, the system can trigger slice level decisions at a higher level of the hierarchy based on information being aggregated for family devices/plans, category, quota, usage, or other groupings at the CHF instead of just at the individual slice level (e.g., similar to standard PCF functionality).

摘要: A mechanism for consistent public land mobile network (PLMN) specific supplementary services across different PLMNs or different service areas/regions of a PLMN is provided. A visited PLMN in which a subscriber unit is receiving or is attempting to receive service may be identified. Home PLMN specific supplementary services provisioned for the subscriber unit may be mapped to visited PLMN specific supplementary service codes set forth in the visited PLMN. These visited PLMN specific supplementary service codes may be used to replace the home PLMN specific supplementary service codes and transmitted to the visited PLMN using outgoing Mobile Application Part messages.

摘要: Examples describe mechanisms for maintaining consistent subscriber data on geo-redundant subscriber databases. In an example, a request to perform an operation related to subscriber data may be received on a subscriber database, wherein the subscriber database may be a geo-redundant deployment of a separate subscriber database. The connectivity status of a synchronization link between the subscriber database and the separate subscriber database may be determined. In response to the determination that the connectivity status of the synchronization link between the subscriber database and the separate subscriber database is disconnected, the request to perform the operation related to the subscriber data on the subscriber database may be denied.

摘要: Example implementations relate to changing a status of a device responsive to detecting an anomaly. A traffic pattern of a device may be monitored across a network. It may be determined that the monitored traffic pattern deviates from an expected traffic pattern of the group of devices by a threshold. Responsive to determining that the devices deviates from the expected traffic pattern, packet data transmitted by the device may be inspected. It may be determined that the inspected packet data transmitted by the device is anomalous. The status of the device may be changed responsive to determining that the packet data transmitted by the device is anomalous.

摘要: 5G introduces the concept of network slices. Although the 5G standard contemplates some form of slice access control, it is premised on subscriber identity-based checks. Because subscriber identities are associated with/maintained via subscriber identity module (SIM) cards, and because SIM cards can be swapped from one device (user equipment) to another, slice access control based on subscriber identities can fail to prevent unauthorized device access. Systems and methods are provided for enhanced slice access control vis-à-vis an enhanced access and mobility management (AMF), and equipment identity register (EIR) functions. In some embodiments, a localized EIR function can reduce latency/messaging overhead.
