    摘要: In a variable displacement compressor of the invention, cylinder bores (111) and a crankcase (121) are formed in a housing, single-ended pistons (37) are fitted in the cylinder bores (111), and a cam plate (23) is provided in the crankcase (121). The displacement capacity of the compressor is varied by controlling the angle of inclination of the cam plate (23) in accordance with the difference between the internal pressure of the crankcase (121) and an suction pressure present on both sides of each single-ended piston (37). A dampening or muffler chamber (65) is provided downstream of an output channel (114) through which a refrigerant gas discharged from the cylinder bores (111) passes. A check valve (69) which opens and closes in accordance with a pressure difference between upstream and downstream sides of the output channel (114) is provided in the output channel (114), upstream of the muffler chamber (65). The present invention reduces the effects of pressure pulsations caused by the compression motion of the compressor and caused by the valve body of the open/close device hunting, has no bad effects on the external refrigerant circuit connected to the compressor, and increases the reliability of the lip seal.

    摘要: A compressor compresses gas containing misted oil. The compressor has a drive plate located in a crank chamber and mounted on a drive shaft and a piston operably coupled to the drive plate and located in a cylinder bore. The drive plate converts rotation of the drive shaft to reciprocating movement of the piston in the cylinder bore to vary the capacity of the cylinder bore. The piston compresses gas supplied to the cylinder bore and discharges the compressed gas from the compressor by way of a discharge chamber and a discharge passage. An oil separating mechanism is disposed midway in the discharge passage to separate the oil from the gas flowing in the discharge passage. A storing chamber is defined in the lower portion of the separating mechanism to store the oil separated from the gas. A supplying passage connects the storing chamber with the crank chamber to supply the oil to the crank chamber from the storing chamber. A supplying valve is disposed midway in the supplying passage. The supplying valve opens the supplying passage to supply the oil to the crank chamber from the storing chamber when the compressor is stopped.

    摘要: A swash plate type variable displacement compressor comprises cylinder bores, pistons, a suction chamber and a discharge chamber. A suction valve introduces a low pressure gas into a working chamber in each cylinder bore. A discharge valve introduces a high pressure gas in the working chamber into the discharge chamber during a compression stroke. A crank chamber communicates to each of the cylinder bores at rear sides of the pistons. A swash plate is tiltably supported on a drive shaft and connected to each of the pistons through associated rods. The swash plate makes the pistons reciprocate in response to its undulating swing motion and varies its inclination angle based upon pressure differential between pressure in the suction chamber and pressure in the crank chamber therefore adjusting discharge displacement. A gas supply passage communicates each cylinder bore to the crank chamber in order to supply gas having a lower pressure than that in the working chamber at the time of completing the compression stroke. A gas bleed passage communicates the crank chamber to the suction chamber in order to introduce gas in the crank chamber into the suction chamber. A pressure control valve is provided in the gas supply passage or the gas bleed passage to control pressure of gas in the crank chamber. A valve is provided for opening and closing the gas supply passage in the middle of the compression stroke of each of the pistons.

The supply passage connecting the crank chamber to a discharge pressure region is provided with a displacement control valve. The pressure in the crank chamber is varied by adjusting the opening of the displacement control valve. The first bleed passage connecting the crank chamber to the suction pressure region is provided with a valve. The second bleed passage constantly connecting the crank chamber to the suction pressure region is provided with a throttle. The valve operates to close the first bleed passage according to the magnitude of centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the rotary shaft.

    摘要: A control valve is used in connection with a variable displacement compressor that varies the discharge capacity by controlling an inclination of a cam plate located in a crank chamber. The inclination of the cam plate is variable based on crank chamber pressure caused by refrigerant in the crank chamber. Monitor pressure is monitored at a predetermined point in a refrigerant circuit for causing a change in the crank chamber pressure and ultimately varying the discharge capacity. The control valve has a housing, an internal control valve mechanism and an external control valve mechanism. The internal control valve mechanism is located inside the valve housing and has a first valve body and a first reacting member. The first reacting member is connected to the first valve body for reacting to the monitor pressure to cause a change in the crank chamber pressure. The external control valve mechanism is located inside the valve housing and has a second valve body and a second reacting member. The second reacting member is for reacting to an external signal to cause the second valve body to change in the crank chamber pressure. The internal control valve mechanism and the external control valve mechanism operate independently with each other.

A cutaway surface is formed in a part of the support arm that defines the guide hole. The cutaway surface forms a clearance in the hinge. The clearance permits the swash plate to move without pulling the drive shaft.
