摘要： A toner developing quantity detection unit operates a plurality of electrostatic recording units to transfer Y, M, C and K color component toner marks onto a belt. A toner developing quantity correction unit detects toner developing quantities per unit area of color toners on the basis of detection signals of the color component toner marks on the belt optically detected by a sensor. The toner developing quantity correction unit corrects the toner developing quantities so as to allow the toner consuming quantities of the plurality of electrostatic recording units to be substantially the same level, on the basis of the thus detected toner developing quantities.

摘要： A developing portion forms a toner image, which corresponds to a recording image, with a toner which has been electrically charged to a predetermined electrical potential. A transfer portion, to which an electric potential, different from the electric potential of the toner image, is applied, transfers the toner image onto a recording medium. A first transfer-electric-potential applying portion applies a transfer electric potential to the transfer portion. A carrying portion carries the recording medium so as to cause the recording medium to pass by the transfer portion. A second transfer-electric-potential applying portion sets the recording medium and the carrying portion to cause the recording medium and the carrying portion to have a predetermined electric potential corresponding to the transfer electric potential of the transfer portion.

摘要： A clamp device which can be easily attached/detached and securely fixed to a board. In order to attach an electric wire bundle clamp to the board, a leg portion of the clamp is inserted in a circular hole of an attachment hole provided in the board, while engaging protruding pieces of the clamp are similarly inserted into notches of the board. Subsequently, the electric wire bundle clamp is rotated 90 degrees, allowing a portion of the board around the circular hole to be held between a base on the surface of the board and the engaging protruding pieces contacting on the underside of the board. Once rotated an engagement protrusion comes to rest in an engagement hole of the board preventing further rotation and firmly fixing the clamp device relatively to the board.

摘要： A container for safekeeping an ink jet cartridge is provided with the main body of a container for storing an ink jet cartridge having a recording head unit, and an ink tank unit containing ink to be supplied to the recording head unit, a lid element for covering the inlet and outlet of the main body of the container for storing or removing the ink jet cartridge, an elastic cap member provided in the main body of the container for covering the recording head unit. This container for safekeeping an ink jet cartridge comprises a rib arranged on the inner wall surface of the lid element for exerting pressure on the recording head unit of the ink jet cartridge to press it to the elastic cap member; and a recess arranged on the inner wall surface of the main body of the container in a position corresponding to the location where the elastic cap member is arranged. In this way, it is possible to cap the recording head appropriately in the container to provide a highly reliable safekeeping of the ink jet cartridge, and at the same time, to store and safekeep the ink jet cartridges for monochromatic use and color uses exhangeably.
