摘要: An optical information recording medium having a drawing region capable of being used without being reversed and without interference with a data recording region is disclosed. The optical information recording medium has a structure in which a recording layer, a semitransparent reflective layer, a discoloration layer, and a protective layer are is formed in order on a first light-transmitting substrate so that the discoloration layer is irradiated with a laser beam to change the optical property of the discoloration layer. For example, interaction between a colorant and a developer in the discoloration layer which assumes a black color is eliminated to cause the color to disappear, thereby forming an image.

摘要: An optical information recording medium has a recording layer and a first semi-transmissive reflective layer which are formed on one surface of a first light-transmissive substrate. Information can be recorded by irradiating a laser beam to the recording layer from the other surface side of the first light-transmissive substrate. The optical information recording medium further comprises a second light-transmissive substrate bonded to the one surface side of the first light-transmissive substrate, which includes the recording layer and the first semi-transmissive reflective layer, a second semi-transmissive reflective layer formed on the second light-transmissive substrate, a heat generating layer formed on the second semi-transmissive reflective layer, and a color developing layer formed on the heat generating layer. With the optical information recording medium, drawing of an object viewable from the label surface side can be made without restricting a data recording area with not need of turning over the optical information recording medium.

摘要: An optical information recording medium has a recording layer, a semi-transmissive reflective layer, a heat-generating layer, a reflective layer, a deformation layer, and a protective layer formed sequentially on a first translucent substrate, and the reflective layer and deformation layer are deformed by heat by irradiating a laser beam to the heat generating layer. Diffused reflection of visible light at the deformed reflecting layer manifests an image. Thus, rendering can be performed by an optical information recording device without flipping over the optical information recording medium, and without interfering with the data recording region.
