    摘要: An input processing circuit for an air flow sensor comprising a differential amplifier connected through two lines to an air flow sensor and having an operational amplifier an output signal from the air flow sensor and sends a result of this processing to an analogue value - digital value conversion integrated circuit. An output signal from the air flow sensor is supplied to the differential amplifier through a filter circuit so as to prevent an occurrence of error in measuring the amount of sucked air for an internal combustion engine due to various noises. A connection of an inverting input terminal end of the differential amplifier to a ground through a resistor prevents an error caused by a breakage of a reference voltage line connected between the air flow sensor and the input processing circuit. A differential input amplifier circuit also prevents an error caused by a variation in potential resulting from consumption current of an air flow sensor or the like from being generated.

    摘要: An engine air/fuel ratio sensing device for measuring the oxygen partial pressure or concentration in the exhaust gas of an engine. The device has a sensor and a control circuit coupled to each other. The sensor consists of an electrolyte oxygen pump cell and an electrolyte oxygen sensor cell, both cells having a gap portion therebetween. The control circuit provides a pumping current through a current limiting resistor to the pump cell and measures two terminal voltages across the current limiting resistor to derive the actual pump current and the internal resistance of the pump cell, the latter being converted into the actual temperature to which the sensor is exposed. The actual pump current and the actual temperature are used to correct the actual pump current to a proper pump current dependent on the temperature, in accordance with a predetermined equation.

    摘要: A rotational speed controller for an internal combustion engine of a vehicle has an air bypass passage which bypasses the throttle valve of the engine. A solenoid valve controls the air intake rate through the bypass passage. The output current of a generator which is driven by the engine is monitored by a current sensor. Based on the current which is sensed, an air intake adjuster calculates the change in the air intake rate through the bypass passage necessary to compensate for the load exerted on the engine by the generator so as to maintain a constant engine speed. The solenoid valve is controlled to change the air intake rate through the bypass passage by the amount calculated by the air intake adjuster. The change in the air intake rate can be calculated on the basis of the level of the generator current and/or the rate of change of the generator current. When a period sensor detects that the generator current is fluctuating with a prescribed amplitude and period, the air intake adjuster calculates the change in the air intake rate on the basis of the average value of the generator current. At other times, it calculates the change in the air intake rate using the instantaneous value of the generator current.

    摘要: A control apparatus for an internal combustion engine has cylinders each of which is provided with an exclusive fuel injection valve individually driven their openings. Each cylinder has a misfiring detecting means for detecting misfiring of that cylinder. The control apparatus includes a drive stopping means for stopping the driving of the fuel injection valve corresponding to a misfired cylinder so as to stop fuel supply to that misfired cylinder. The apparatus is further provided an air-to-fuel ratio sensor in the exhaust path of the engine so that when misfiring of the cylinder is detected, the fuel injection valves remain controlled through a feedback control where the openings of the normally fired cylinders are controlled in accordance with the air-to-fuel ratio signal outputted from the air-to-fuel ratio sensor in such a way that the apparent air-to-fuel ratio of the cylinders is given by an equation L=nLo/(n-p) where L is the apparent value of the air-to-fuel ratio of the cylinders when p cylinders are misfired, n is the number of cylinders, Lo is the air-to-fuel ratio of the cylinders when all of the cylinders are normally operating, and p is the number of misfired cylinders.
