    摘要: A chuck mechanism (2) for holding a pipette head (3) is attached to an output end of a reciprocating drive mechanism (1). A chuck control mechanism (5) for controlling the head holding and releasing operations of the chuck mechanism (2) is disposed at one side of each of head support members (41) of a head stowing device (4) for accommodating replaceable pipette heads (3). The chuck control mechanism (5) comprises a control piece (54) engageable with and disengageable from the chuck mechanism (2) for effecting the holding and releasing operations, and a plurality of magnets (81), (82), (8) for reciprocatingly driving the control piece (54) with the reciprocating movement of the chuck mechanism (2) when the pipette head (3) as held by the chuck mechanism (2) is thereby moved toward or away from the head support member (41). The pipetting apparatus is adapted to automatically and rapidly replace the pipette head by another.

    摘要: An ultrasonic sensor detects the time of rise of the first of transmitted waves and also detects peak points Po appearing in the waveform of received waves to detect a waveform reference point where the time-base coordinate of a phantom envelope connecting these peak points Po is a minimum. The distance L to an object of measurement is calculated based on the result of calculation. The sensor thus realized gives measurements with high accuracy even with use of ultrasonic waves of relatively low frequency.

    摘要: A radio-frequency signal receiver and its manufacturing method are disclosed. A tuner receives a radio-frequency signal, and a demodulator receives an output signal from the tuner. An error corrector receives an output from the demodulator. A determiner determines whether or not an error rate supplied from the error corrector is not less than a predetermined rate. A controller receives an output from the determiner, and based on the determination, the controller controls a plurality of sections forming the radio-frequency signal receiver. The controller controls selectively one of the plurality of sections, thereby lowering the error rate. A manufacturing method of this receiver makes a memory, coupled to the controller, store a shift-amount of frequency corresponding to an interference signal in a pass-band of a narrow-band filter.

The cylinder casing includes an annular protrusion projecting into an air gap between the discs, wherein a small seal member which seals upper and lower spaces is provided between a portion of the core located between the discs and an annular protrusion and a large seal member which seals upper and lower spaces is provided between an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder casing, and an outer peripheral surface of the discs. The interior of the cylinder casing is divided into four small cavities abutting on one another vertically and an effective pressure-receiving area of the large seal member is larger than that of the small seal member to each of the small cavities.

    摘要: A damping support structure for preventing vibrations of an apparatus table supporting an apparatus for manufacturing ultra-high precision devices such as semiconductors and printed circuit boards. The apparatus table is supported in suspension by support members, with its apparatus mounting surface disposed at a low level. The support members are supported by stationary members through vertically extendible and contractible first air springs. Horizontally extendible and contractible second air springs are disposed between the stationary members and the apparatus table. The first and second air springs serve to mitigate vertical and horizontal vibrations of the apparatus table, respectively. At the same time, in response to vibrations of the apparatus table detected by vibration sensors, air supply from air supply devices to inside spaces of the first and second air springs is controlled to apply controlling forces to the apparatus table through the first and second air springs for displacing the apparatus table relative to the stationary members and maintaining the apparatus table in an absolutely stationary state.
