摘要: An apparatus for use with an office machine for allowing operational conditions of the machine to be set up with ease and promoting easy handling of a menu sheet on which information for selecting the operational conditions are to be written. An operator can condition the machine for desired operation modes simply by marking a menu sheet and then inserting it in a menu sheet reader. Even when the menu sheet jams a transport path defined in the menu sheet reader, for example, it can be dealt with by simple processing.

摘要: An inkjet printing apparatus suppresses air currents heading toward print head faces, and reduces the adherence of ink mist onto the print heads. The apparatus includes a carriage upon which is mounted one or more print heads with ink ejection ports formed thereon, a printing unit that prints an image onto a printing medium by causing ink droplets to be ejected toward the printing medium from the ink ejection ports while also causing the carriage to move with respect to the printing medium, and an airflow control mechanism formed on the surface of the one or more print heads or the carriage that faces the printing medium, the airflow control mechanism controlling air currents flowing into a lateral region extending along the carriage moving direction on either side of the region where the ink ejection ports are formed, and causing the air pressure to rise in the lateral region.

摘要: An electronic cam using a servo motor is controlled such that its motion including its acceleration will be connected between synchronized and non-synchronized control sections. A controlled object is moved at a fixed speed during the synchronized control section. A fifth-order function for position control of the electronic cam, a fourth-order function for speed control of the electronic cam and a third-order function for acceleration control of the electronic cam are used in the non-synchronized control section such that operation of the electronic cam at transition points between the synchronized control section and the non-synchronized control section is smoothly controlled.

摘要: A vehicle number plate that allows a steering damper to be disposed without impairing the functions of the number plate, and is less susceptible to an effect of cross wind. The vehicle includes a front fork, which suspends a front wheel, disposed steerably on a head pipe on a vehicle body and a steering mechanism including a handlebar mounted on the front fork. The number plate is marked with a competition identification number and is disposed at a front portion of a fork bridge including a top bridge and a bottom bridge to connect left- and right-hand portions of the front fork. In the vehicle, the steering damper is disposed between the head pipe and the bottom bridge. The number plate includes a protruded portion that protrudes forwardly at a center thereof and narrows toward a lower portion, the lower portion covering an area forward of the steering damper.

摘要: The extracorporeal blood circulating apparatus of the present invention includes: a closed-type venous reservoir having a blood storage chamber and a volume adjusting chamber that are disposed adjacently by partitioning a closed space formed by a housing; an adjusting liquid tank for storing an adjusting liquid that is connected to the volume adjusting chamber; and a blood pump that is connected to the blood storage chamber. In the housing, an inflow port for allowing blood to inflow and an outflow port for allowing blood to outflow are provided so as to communicate with the blood storage chamber, and an adjusting port for injecting and ejecting the adjusting liquid is provided so as to communicate with the volume adjusting chamber. The blood pump is connected via the outflow port, and the adjusting liquid tank is connected via the adjusting port. The closed space is partitioned by a flexible septum member so as to form the blood storage chamber and the volume adjusting chamber, and the adjusting liquid tank and the adjusting port are connected by a conduit member having a configuration that can adjust a flowing amount. Control of a blood storage amount to be most appropriate and easy adjustment are possible throughout all steps from before starting an extracorporeal blood circulation to terminating it.
