摘要: A communication cable having a communication wire and an armor including at least two synthetic resin layers, and protects the communication wire in a loose state. The communication wire protecting tube includes at least two synthetic resin layers, and inserts the communication wire in a loose state. The most hard resin layer of the armor has a crosswise or spiral annular groove or cut portion continuous in the longitudinal direction to reach the radially inner face, and the outermost layer of the armor is formed of a protective layer made of a softer resin than the hard resin layer. The adjoining edge portions of the annular groove or the cut portion come, when the communication wire is to be bent, into contact with each other so that it may be prevented from being bent to a predetermined or smaller bend radius.

摘要: [Problems to be solved]A communication cable and a communication wire protecting tube, which can be easily bent to a predetermined bend radius by a low force but which requires such a higher force for the bend of a smaller diameter that it may be hard to bend. [Means for solving the Problems]The communication cable 10,10A comprises a communication wire 11,11A and an armor 13A including at least two synthetic resin layers, and protects the communication wire 11,11A in a loose state. The communication wire protecting tube comprises at least two synthetic resin layers, and inserts the communication wire 11,11A in a loose state. The most hard resin layer 13a, 13aA of the armor 13,13A has a crosswise or spiral annular groove 14 or cut portion 14A continuous in the longitudinal direction to reach the radially inner face, and the outermost layer of the armor 13,13A is formed of a protective layer 13b,13bA made of a softer resin than the hard resin layer 13a, 13aA. The adjoining edge portions 14a,14aA of the annular groove 14 or the cut portion 14A come, when the communication wire 11,11A is to be bent, into contact with each other so that it may be prevented from being bent to a predetermined or smaller bend radius.

摘要: A self-supporting cable includes a main cable constructed by covering a cable core with an inner cover layer and installing one or more strength members inside the inner cover layer such that they lie on a plane passing through the central axis thereof; a support member; and an outer cover layer formed so as to cover the main cable and the support member while they are arranged in parallel. A support member portion including the support member and a part of the outer cover layer and a main cable portion including the main cable and a part of the outer cover layer are connected by connecting portions, which are also a part of the outer cover layer, in the longitudinal direction thereof. The main cable portion is made longer than the support member portion so that there is an allowance in the length thereof.

摘要: A disposable wearing article adapted to prevent indicators from being transferred to a liquid-absorbent structure and to make the indicators develop the color reaction quickly in response to a discharge of body exudates. A disposable diaper has a topsheet, a backsheet and a liquid-absorbent structure interposed between these top- and backsheets. A surface of a first backsheet facing the liquid-absorbent structure is formed with indicators. The indicators contain a hot-melt polymer, an indicator agent adapted to develop a color reaction and a plasticizing oil. The liquid-absorbent structure has a liquid-absorbent core, a liquid-diffusive wrapping sheet adapted to wrap the core. A hydrophilic bottom sheet is interposed between a bottom surface of the core and a bottom surface region of the wrapping sheet. A dimension in the transverse direction of the bottom sheet is larger than a dimension of a region in which the indicators are formed and smaller than a dimension in the transverse direction of the core.

摘要: Vehicle speed identification information for identifying vehicle speed of a vehicle on a road is obtained for a plurality of vehicles. Based on a distribution of the vehicle speed identification information, the vehicle speed identification information is classified into groups corresponding to motions of the vehicle. An occurrence probability of a motion of the vehicle is obtained based on the classification.

摘要: A navigation system includes an information center and a navigation device installed in a probe vehicle. The information center stores limiting information for specifying a content of probe information in accordance with predefined factors, specifies a predefined factor corresponding to a navigation device, selects the limiting information based on the specified predefined factor, transmits the selected limiting information to the navigation device, and receives the corresponding probe information transmitted from a navigation device. The navigation device receives the limiting information from the information center, collects probe information, selects only the probe information specified by the received limiting information for transmission to the information center, and transmits the selected probe information to the information center.

摘要: A vehicle brake disk is disclosed that can include an outer friction member having a first thickness in cross-section, and an inner friction member having a second thickness in cross-section that is thicker than the first thickness in cross-section of the outer friction member. A plurality of vanes can connect the outer friction member to the inner friction member, and a connection cylinder portion can connect the outer friction member to a hub member for connection to a wheel of the vehicle. The vanes can be configured to have different lengths. The vanes can alternate in length about the periphery of the brake disk, with a uniform location of the end portions at an outer periphery of the brake disk and alternating locations of other end portions at an inner periphery of the brake disk.

摘要: Vehicle position information providing devices, methods, and programs acquire a first current position of a vehicle based on a radio signal received from a GPS satellite and acquire a second current position of the vehicle based on a signal received by a communication device that communicates over a mobile phone network. The devices, methods, and programs determine whether the first current position and the second current position coincide. If the first current position and the second current position do not coincide, the devices, methods, and programs cause the communication device to transmit information relating to the first current position to an information center.

摘要: Navigation apparatus, methods, and programs merge and correct a plurality of types of past traffic information. The apparatus, methods, and programs may store a plurality of types of past traffic information, each type of past traffic information having a priority and may merge the stored past traffic information in accordance the priorities. The apparatus, methods, and programs may detect adjacency relationships among the plurality of links; and, if a detected link number indicates that the corresponding link is not adjacent to adjacent links, replaces the detected link number for the link, the replaced link number indicating that the link is adjacent to the adjacent links.
