摘要: A liquid discharge apparatus includes a head configured to discharge liquid to print an image on a recording medium according to image data while the liquid discharge apparatus is moved; a sensor configured to detect movement of the liquid discharge apparatus in a predetermined period and output movement information including at least one of a movement amount and an angular velocity of the liquid discharge apparatus; a heater configured to heat the head; a temperature sensor configured to detect a temperature of the head; and circuitry. The circuitry is configured to instruct liquid discharge from the head based on the image data and the movement information from the sensor, detect floating of the liquid discharge apparatus based on a detection result generated by the sensor, and control heating of the head based on a result of detection of the floating.

摘要: A battery-less multi-rotation encoder including detection coils with the Barkhausen effect includes a rotation detection mechanism and a signal processing circuit. The detection coils generate voltage pulses with different positive and negative signs, and transmit them to the signal processing circuit, and the signal processing circuit includes a controller and an adder. The controller can set states of the detection coils to be High or Low and to maintain them at High or Low, based on the positive and negative signs of the respective voltage pulses and no voltage pulse being generated therefrom. The controller is configured to store the states of the respective detection coils in a memory. The adder can update a number of rotations according to the changes in the states of the respective detection coils. The signal processing circuit can determine the rotational angle of a rotational shaft within about 1/4 rotation unit.

摘要: In the printing apparatus according to the present invention, the central processing section determines as to whether an empty area required for loading of image data is available in a swap page used as a swap area of a real page or not, and directly loads the image data on the swap page and compresses the image data when an empty area is available in a memory of the swap page. On the other hand, when an empty area is not available, the central processing section loads the image data in a real page via a virtual frame buffer and transfers the image data to the swap page for compression thereof.
