摘要： An area information storage section stores positional information on at least two target areas on the standard image of printed matter to be examined, the area of each of the target areas, their standard average densities, and the standard deviation of their density distribution. An average density computing section calculates the average density for each target area in the image data supplied from the image input section using positional information on each target area and its area supplied from the area information storage section. A density difference measuring means measures, target area by target area, the density difference between the average density and the standard average density supplied from the area information storage section. A density difference normalizing section normalizes the density difference and the standard deviation of the density distribution supplied from the area information storage section. On the basis of the added value of the normalized density difference for each of the target areas, a summing section judges the degree of stain on the printed matter to be examined.

摘要： A first illumination section radiates light at a certain degree of illuminance toward the face of a human recognition object from an upper right part or an upper left part of a camera, and a second illumination section radiates light at a certain degree of illuminance toward the face of the human recognition object from a lower part of a camera. The camera photographs and inputs a facial image of the human recognition object. The image processing section extracts a feature value of the face of the human recognition object from a facial image inputted by the camera and collates the feature value extracted with a standard feature value registered in advance so as to recognize a facial image of the human recognition object.

The terminal has a wire connection portion coupled to the terminal end of the flat electric wire and a connecting portion connected to the inverter. The terminal is formed so that, when the terminal is connected to the inverter, a plane that includes a flat surface of the connecting portion is oriented in the direction in which the flat electric wire is easy to bend and intersects with the predetermined direction.

With respect to the cylinder main body, a slide table is disposed for reciprocal displacement through a guide mechanism, which is disposed on the cylinder main body. A stopper mechanism having a stopper bolt is disposed on one end of the slide table centrally in a widthwise direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the slide table. In addition, when the slide table is displaced along the cylinder main body, an end of the stopper bolt comes into abutment with an end of a cover of the guide mechanism, whereupon the slide table becomes engaged therewith and movement of the slide table is stopped.

The ball circulation passages are made up from roll-reversing sections disposed on opposite ends of the ball circulation members, the ball circulation holes, second ball guide grooves formed in both side surfaces of the guide block, and first ball guide grooves of the slide table.

The evaluation unit carries out a plurality of different evaluations for each of the plurality of candidates. Further, the specific part detection unit detects one of the plurality of candidates as the specific part based on evaluation results of the evaluation unit.
