    摘要: The invention provides catalysts for the catalytic cracking of heavy oil, comprising an iron-containing crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite. This crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite is obtained by treating a raw crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite material with an acidic solution containing iron ions, or alternatively, by applying a steam treatment and, thereafter, treating with an acidic solution containing iron ions. The use of the catalyst provides a gasoline fraction having a high octane value and an intermediate fraction from heavy oil in high yield.

    摘要: A process for removal of hydrogen sulfide is here provided by which sulfur and hydrogen can be efficiently recovered from a hydrogen sulfide-containing gas and secondarily produced sulfuric acid can be properly treated, whereby a long-term continuous operation is possible in a closed system.The invention is mainly directed to a process which comprises the steps of bringing a hydrogen sulfide-containing gas into contact with an aqueous iron salt (Fe.sup.3+) solution to carry out oxidation reaction and to thereby produce a solution containing Fe.sup.2+, sulfur and secondarily produced sulfuric acid in a hydrogen sulfide gas absorption-oxidation step, separating sulfur from the solution, electrochemically treating the solution to regenerate the aqueous iron salt (Fe.sup.3+) solution, bringing a part of the solution from which sulfur has been separated into contact with hydrogen to reduce secondarily produced sulfuric acid contained in the solution and to thereby produce hydrogen sulfide, and then returning the thus produced hydrogen sulfide to the hydrogen sulfide gas absorption-oxidation step.

    摘要: Adamantane compound is obtained by isomerizing a tricyclic saturated hydrocarbon having 10 to 14 carbon atoms in the presence of an X- or Y-type zeolite catalyst subjected to ion exchange with one or two kinds of metal ions selected from the group consisting of ions of rare earth metals, calcium and magnesium. The preferred catalyst is a catalyst which is further loaded with 1 to 4 kinds of metals selected from the group consisting of germanium, platinum, rhenium, nickel, cobalt, copper, iron ruthenium and rhodium. This isomerization reaction is preferably carried out in the presence of hydrogen gas.
