摘要: The application provides articles, systems, and methods for adsorbing and desorbing nitrogen oxides (NOx) at desired temperatures. The catalytic article comprises a NOx adsorber composition comprising a platinum group metal (PGM) component disposed on or impregnated in a support material, and a substrate, wherein the catalytic article further comprises a magnetic material capable of inductive heating in response to an applied alternating electromagnetic field. The catalytic article further comprises a conductor associated therewith for receiving current and generating an alternating electromagnetic field in response thereto, wherein the conductor is positioned such that the generated alternating electromagnetic field is applied to at least a portion of the magnetic material. This field can inductively heat the magnetic material to heat the NOx adsorber composition to desorb the NOx from the NOx adsorber composition.

摘要: A method for converting an alcohol to a hydrocarbon, the method comprising contacting said alcohol with a metal-loaded zeolite catalyst at a temperature of at least 100° C. and up to 550° C., wherein said alcohol can be produced by a fermentation process, said metal is a positively-charged metal ion, and said metal-loaded zeolite catalyst is catalytically active for converting said alcohol to said hydrocarbon.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a heating carrier that does not heat all of exhaust gas flowing into a catalyst converter, but directly supplies, to a catalyst layer, thermal energy in the form of an instantaneous pulse to effectively activate a catalyst during a cold start-up period, and thus may reduce emission pollutants with a small amount of energy, and an exhaust gas reduction carrier having the heating carrier. In order to accomplish the object, the heating carrier of the present invention may include a main body of which the inside is formed to have a honeycomb structure, the main body being formed of a conductive ceramic material that is a nonmetallic heating element; and a catalyst layer formed by coating a first catalyst on a surface of the main body.

摘要: A catalyst is illustrated, which has 70-90 parts by weight of mica, 1-10 parts by weight of zeolite, 5-15 parts by weight of titanium dioxide, 1-10 parts by weight of aluminum oxide, 1-5 parts by weight of sodium oxide and 1-5 parts by weight of potassium oxide. The present disclosure also illustrates a pyrolysis device using the catalyst, and further illustrates a pyrolysis method using the catalyst and/or the pyrolysis device for thermally cracking an organic polymer.

摘要: SCR-active molecular-sieve based catalysts with improved low-temperature performance are made by heating a molecular-sieve in a non-oxidizing atmosphere with steam (hydrothermal treatment), or in a reducing atmosphere without steam (thermal treatment), at a temperature in the range of 600-900° C. for a time period from 5 minutes to two hours. The resulting SCR-active iron-containing molecular sieves exhibit a selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides with NH3 or urea at 250° C. that is at least 50% greater than if the iron-containing molecular-sieve were calcined at 500° C. for two hours without performing the hydrothermal or thermal treatment.

摘要: A family of crystalline aluminosilicate zeolites has been synthesized that is a layered pentasil zeolite. These zeolites are represented by the empirical formula: Mmn+Rrp+Al1-xExSiyOz where M is an alkali, alkaline earth, or rare earth metal such as sodium or strontium, R can be a mixture of organoammonium cations and E is a framework element such as gallium, iron, boron, or indium. These zeolites are characterized by unique x-ray diffraction patterns and compositions and have catalytic properties for carrying out various hydrocarbon conversion processes.
