摘要: A four-wheeled-electromotive cart includes a single motor and a direct axle driving mechanism for driving the axle of left and right front wheels by means of the motor. The single electric motor would cause no rotation speed difference between the left and right front wheels and hence constantly permits a smooth linear movement of the electromotive cart. The direct axle driving mechanism includes a relay shaft connected to the output shaft of the electric motor, a small-diameter bevel gear mounted on a lower end of the relay shaft, and a large-diameter bevel gear engaging with the small-diameter bevel gear. The front-wheel axle is spline-connected to the large-diameter bevel gear so as to be driven by the motor via the direct axle driving mechanism. Thus, the electromotive cart is allowed to smoothly start moving without sudden jolts or shocks caused by start of the motor rotation.

摘要: A power blower has a fan housing, a blowing fan accommodated in the fan housing, a drive source for driving the blowing fan, an operating handle connected to the fan housing for gripping by an operator of the power blower, and at least one vibration damping member interposed between the operating handle and the fan housing. The vibration damping member has resiliently deformed protruding portions contacting an inner peripheral surface of the operating handle so that vibrations in three directions, passing from the drive source and blowing fan to the fan housing, are absorbed by resilient deformation of the protruding portions to thereby suppress vibrations passing via the fan housing to the operating handle.

摘要: An engine breather system is formed from a first breather chamber communicating with a crank chamber formed within a crankcase, a second breather chamber communicating with the crank chamber as well as with an intake system, a communicating passage connecting the first and second breather chambers, and a one-way valve. The valve is provided at an open end on the second breather chamber side of the communicating passage, so as to prevent breather gas from flowing from the second breather chamber toward the first breather chamber. The one-way valve is provided with a pressure relief hole, which prevents oil from leaking into the intake system accompanying continued operation of the engine in an attitude different from its normal attitude.

摘要: In an apparatus for controlling an air/fuel ratio of a general-purpose internal combustion engine using mixed fuel containing alcohol and gasoline and operated at a desired engine speed inputted by the operator while a throttle opening is regulated such that a detected engine speed converges to the inputted desired engine speed, a fuel injection amount determined for mixed fuel based on fuel injection amount characteristics is increased/decreased when a load is kept constant and the output air/fuel ratio is estimated to correct the fuel injection amount by the estimated air/fuel ratio, while a switch (knob) is installed to be manipulated by the operator to switch the fuel injection amount characteristics.

摘要: A fuel feed system of an engine is provided with a gas-fuel separating unit for separating oil mist generated in an engine case from air with a labyrinth, and an auto fuel cock is operated by pressure pulsation of the air from which the oil mist is separated by the gas-liquid separating unit. Thus, infiltration of the oil mist into the auto fuel cock is suppressed to the minimum, and a malfunction of the auto fuel cock caused by accumulation of the oil can be prevented. Additionally, a breather passage for feeding the air, from which the oil mist is separated by the gas-liquid separating unit, to a breathing unit is connected the auto fuel cock via a negative pressure tube. Thus, it is unnecessary to provide a specific passage for transmitting the pressure pulsation of the air in the engine case to the auto fuel cock.

摘要: In a power blower, an operating handle is fixed on a fan housing via a damping mechanism resiliently supporting the operating handle in such a manner as to permit displacement of the handle with respect to the housing in three directions: axial direction of a discharge duct; and two directions perpendicular to the axial direction. The mechanism includes first and second shaft sections extending from the housing, first and second cylindrical mounting sections formed on the handle, damping members each fittingly interposed between one of the mounting sections and one of the shaft sections and having protrusions contacting the inner peripheral surface of the mounting section. Each of the mounting sections fits the outer peripheral surface of the damping member without interfering with the shaft section. Retainer member is provided at the distal end of each of the shaft sections for holding the damping member.

摘要: In an engine of a working machine having no governor mechanism, the engine revolution speed is controlled such that the revolution speed can stably be maintained irrespective of the variation in load without adjusting the throttle opening to exploit the full potential of the engine. Since an engine 1 does not have the governor mechanism, an operator adjusts the throttle opening and controls the engine revolution speed. A map in which ignition timing (amount of angle of lead) is set by means of functions of the engine revolution speed is stored in an ignition timing map 30. The map 30 is set such that the engine revolution speed is equal to or higher than a value to be controlled (e.g. 7000 rpm), and the ignition timing is lagged as compared with a case in which the engine revolution speed is lower than the value to be controlled.
