    Abstract: In a state where a glass run channel that sandwiches an end portion of a door glass sandwiches a flange portion formed at an outer side of a door frame in a vehicle width direction, the glass run channel is attached to the door frame. A bracket is connected to a portion (outer wall upper portion) of the door frame, which is different from the flange portion. Therefore, it is possible to ensure continuity in the cross-sectional shape of the glass run channel. Thus, even when the glass run channel is attached to the door frame so as to sandwich the flange portion, it is possible to inhibit a deformation of a design surface of the glass run channel due to thermal effect, or the like.

    Abstract: The present invention allows a program vector representing attributes of a program to be generated as follows. At a step S11, EPG data is received. At a step S12, meta data necessary for generation of a program vector PP is extracted from the EPG data. At a step S13, a morphological analysis is carried out on contents and title included in the meta data to disassemble the contents and the title into words. At a step S14, items included in the meta data are subjected to a vector creation process to generate the program vector PP. At a step S15, an effect vector is extracted on the basis of a genre of a program associated with the meta data. At a step S16, the extracted effect vector is associated with the generated program vector PP and the processing is ended. The present invention can be applied to a distribution server for distributing contents.

    Abstract: An information processing apparatus, an information processing method, a recording medium, and a program for generating preference information based on consecutively and inconsecutively viewed programs recommends the programs matching a user's preferences. A preference information extraction unit extracts program preference information based on metadata about programs and records a history of viewing of the programs. Preference information about a program that has been viewed for the first time is recorded as special program preference information. User preference information is generated on the basis of information about the preferred programs whose viewing count has exceeded a threshold value. A control unit automatically makes recording reservations of the programs whose viewing count has exceeded the threshold value. If an automatic recording reservation is canceled, a preference information updating unit updates the user preference information to reflect the metadata about the program whose recording reservation has been canceled.

    Abstract: An interest vector is configured using a parameter indicating a degree of interest in each category based on user interest information received by a control server on a peer-to-peer network.     Abstract: Disclosed herein are an information processing apparatus and method, a program, and a recording medium, in which a content is recommended to each user on the basis of even the metadata that is assigned with no classification. A metadata analysis block resolves metadata acquired by a metadata acquisition block into components. A dictionary data generation block generates dictionary data in which genre is correlated with keyword and each component. An associated-information database generation block references the dictionary data to assign genre to the metadata which are assigned with no genre, thereby generating an associated-information database of content. An associated-information search block references the dictionary data to identify a genre from a keyword of interest data to search for associated information, thereby recommending content to the user. The present invention is applicable to personal computers or HDD recorders.
