摘要: A process for producing an aliphatic polyester through ring-opening polymerization of a cyclic ester, wherein a partial polymer in a molten state is continuously introduced into a twin-screw stirring device to continuously obtain a partial polymer in a solid pulverized state, the partial polymer is subjected to solid-phase polymerization, and the resultant polymer is melt-kneaded together with a thermal stabilizer to be formed into pellets. As a result, an aliphatic polyester of a high molecular weight and with little discoloration is produced efficiently.

摘要: A process for producing an aliphatic polyester, comprising: subjecting at least two serial stages of bulk-phase ring-opening polymerization and a solid-phase polymerization step, wherein a cyclic ester held in a dry air atmosphere is supplied to a first reactor to perform a first stage polymerization, thereby obtaining a partially polymerized molten product, and the resultant partially polymerized molten product is supplied to a second reactor held under a dry inert gas atmosphere to perform a second stage polymerization. As a result, the production efficiency can be improved, while maintaining excellent properties of the aliphatic polyester product.

摘要: A method for producing a laminate, including a polymerization step of synthesizing a polyglycolic acid-based resin at a temperature of 200 to 220° C.; a mixing step of mixing 100 parts by mass of the polyglycolic acid-based resin with 0.016 parts by mass or more of a heat stabilizer under a condition that a highest temperature is between 275° C. and 295° C., thereby preparing a polyglycolic acid-based resin composition; and a forming step of forming the polyglycolic acid-based resin composition at a temperature of 230 to 265° C., thereby fabricating a laminate including a layer made of the polyglycolic acid-based resin composition.

摘要: Polyglycolic acid and polylactic acid having a weight-average molecular weight of at most 50,000 are melt-kneaded in the presence of a thermal stabilizer to obtain a polyglycolic acid-based aliphatic polyester composition. The aliphatic polyester composition alleviates the too fast crystallizability of polyglycolic acid which has been problematic in forming or molding of polyglycolic acid alone or in combination with another thermoplastic resin, thus showing a crystallization speed which has been lowered and can be controlled in a wide range.

摘要: In a gas-barrier laminate having a layer structure of aromatic polyester resin/polyglycolic acid resin/aromatic polyester resin, a small amount of an aromatic polyester resin polymerized with a germanium compound (catalyst) is blended to the polyglycolic acid resin forming the core layer, thereby surface-roughening the polyglycolic acid resin layer. As a result, the peeling resistance between the polyglycolic acid resin/aromatic polyester resin layers is practically improved while maintaining a good gas-barrier property.
