摘要: A process for the production of a terephthalate polyester, containing a stage a) for preparing an esterification feedstock containing at least one mixing section fed with at least one terephthalic acid feedstock and one diester monomer feedstock, where the ratio of the total number of moles of diol units with respect to the total number of moles of terephthalate units introduced into the mixing section is between 1.0 and 2.0, the mixing section being operated at a temperature between 25° C. and 250° C. and at a pressure greater than or equal to 0.1 MPa, an esterification stage b) to produce at least one reaction effluent and one aqueous effluent, a polycondensation stage c) to obtain at least the terephthalate polyester and an effluent containing at least one diol monomer, and a stage d) of treatment of the diols to obtain a purified diol stream.

摘要: Bifuran-modified polyester, polyethylene-terephthalate-co (2,2′-bifuran-5,5′-dicarboxylate), prepared by esterifying or transesterifying a diacid component comprising from 2 to 10 mole percent 2,2′-bifuran-5,5′-dicarboxylate and a diol component with a catalyst compound comprising metal present in an amount of from about 10 to about 450 ppm and polycondensation to form the polyester wherein the polyester has an inherent viscosity of at least 0.5 g/dL, a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 82° C. or more, a semicrystalline melting peak (Tm) with ΔHf equal to or greater than 5 J/g on the second heating ramp, and melting temperature (Tm) between 229° C. and 246° C. Reinforced compositions and shaped articles comprising bifuran-modified polyethylene terephthalate and methods of their production are also disclosed.

摘要: The invention provides a resin composition that is capable of relaxing anisotropy while keeping the crystalline structure derived from liquid crystallinity and that has isotropic structure and physicality from a macroscopic view, even after the melt-processed molded article obtained by applying shear has been molded, cooled and fused without applying shear stress and subsequently re-cooled. The resin composition comprises a liquid crystal polyester resin (A) comprising structural unit (I) derived from a hydroxycarboxylic acid, structural unit (II) derived from a diol compound, and structural unit (III) derived from a dicarboxylic acid, and a resin (B) other than the liquid crystal polyester resin (A), and has an X-ray diffraction measured after fusing the resin composition that satisfies a specific condition.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a polyester film and a preparation method of the same. Since the polyester film includes a resin layer formed from a mixture comprising a polyester resin, which includes a first diol moiety derived from isosorbide and a second diol moiety derived from cyclohexanedimethanol in a controlled ratio, and polyethylene terephthalate in a specific ratio, it is possible to exhibit improved heat resistance and adhesion with excellent light transmittance.

摘要: There is provided a polyester resin including a 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid unit and a cyclohexanedimethanol unit in a main chain, in which the polyester resin is high in molecular weight, has heat resistance and hydrolysis resistance, and is excellent in mechanical properties and melt heat stability. There is also provided a method for producing a polyester resin having the above characteristics. A polyester resin including a 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid unit and a 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol unit as main constituent components, wherein the following (I) and (II) are satisfied: (I) the reduced viscosity (ηsp/c) is 0.7 dL/g or more; and (II) the sum of a cyclovinylidene terminal and a methylcyclohexene terminal is 80 μeq/g or less.
