    摘要: An electric current control method for a servomotor in which a reactive current is lowered in a region where a voltage saturation does not occur, to suppress generation of heat caused by the reactive current and achieve a stable rotation up to a high-speed region. In the current control of the servomotor using a DQ conversion, an electric current is not supplied to d-phase and supplied only to q-phase when a rotational speed of the servomotor is not high, and the reactive current is supplied to the d-phase only when the rotational speed of the servomotor is high, to thereby lower the terminal voltage of the servomotor by the reactive current. Thus, the reactive current is reduced in the region where the voltage saturation does not occur, to thereby suppress the generation of heat due to the reactive current, and also achieve the stable rotation even in the high-speed region.

    摘要: A motor driving apparatus capable of detecting during operation a ground fault and a phase-to-phase short circuit by distinguishing one from the other is provided while minimizing an increase in cost. The sum of three-phase AC currents supplied from a three-phase AC power supply to an AC/DC converter is detected by a current sensor. When overcurrent is detected by an overcurrent detector, if the sum of the currents detected by the current sensor is zero, it is determined that the fault is a phase-to-phase short circuit, but if the sum is not zero, it is determined that the fault is a ground fault.

    摘要: During motor acceleration control period that starts at time T1, if power supply output or supply current exceeds a predetermined level at time T2, PWM control in a PWM converter is turned off until a deceleration control period of T3 to T4 ends. As a result, DC link voltage (voltage of a power storage device) at the start of the deceleration control at time T3 drops to provide space for storing regenerative power; since the PWM control in the PWM converter is off during the deceleration control period, the regenerative power can be stored into the power storage device and reused in the next control cycle.

    摘要: The controller controls a spindle connected to an induction motor via a belt by controlling the rotational velocity of the induction motor. The spindle has an encoder attached thereto for detecting the position of the spindle, but the induction motor does not have a velocity detector attached thereto. The velocity of the induction motor is estimated from the spindle velocity obtained from output of the encoder, and slip of the belt is detected based on the estimated velocity of the induction motor. When occurrence of slip of the belt is detected, the estimated velocity of the induction motor will not be used for the control of the induction motor.
