摘要: An inserter includes a housing, a plunger holding an indwelling member, a lifter contained in the housing in the state where the lifter is axially movable relative to the plunger, a needle holder contained in the housing and having a projection that can be latched by the plunger and the lifter, an insertion needle held by the needle holder and inserted in a cannula, and a spring provided between the plunger and the lifter and applying a biasing force in the direction of biasing the plunger and the lifter away from each other. The projection of the needle holder is latched by the plunger before the indwelling member reaches the body surface of the user, and latched by the lifter after the indwelling member reaches the body surface of the user.

摘要: In a known method of measuring a target substance, comprising: providing a sample solution containing the target substance, a first reaction solution, and a second reaction solution; sequentially aspirating the sample solution and the first reaction solution, using a measuring apparatus equipped with a dispensing unit, into the dispensing unit; discharging them at a time from the dispensing unit, to bring them into contact with the second reaction solution, and to form a complex of the target substance and a first partner which is contained in at least one of the first reaction solution or the second reaction solution and reacts specifically with the target substance; and analyzing the resulting complex, an improved method capable of inhibiting a reaction which adversely affects measurement results is provided. In this improved method, the specific gravity of the sample solution is different from the specific gravity of the first reaction solution; and the sample solution and the first reaction solution are aspirated into the dispensing unit in an overlaid state.

摘要: Provided is a glove for sensitizing touch perception with which fingertips can be moved smoothly across a wide area without influencing subtle touch perception and an examination by means of palpation can be performed highly accurately and smoothly.A glove 1 according to the present invention is a glove for sensitizing touch perception that is for use in detecting minute irregularities of an object via a sensitizing layer 2 by means of a hand inserted between the sensitizing layer 2 and an external cover 3. The sensitizing layer 2 includes: a first film 10 to be in contact with the object; a second film 12 layered on the first film 10; and an air introduction opening 14 for introducing air between the first film 10 and the second film 12 to allow the second film 12 to slide relative to the first film 10. The external cover 3 or the sensitizing layer 2 includes a stopper 20 for positioning the tip of a hand inserted between the sensitizing layer 2 and the external cover 3 on the inner side of a peripheral edge of the sensitizing layer 2.

摘要: In a method for measuring an analyte, which comprises a reaction step of forming a reaction system including a sample containing whole blood, a first substance carried by a solid carrier and specifically binding to an analyte contained in the sample and a second substance specifically binding to the analyte and allowing the analyte to react with the first and second substances and a measurement step of measuring the formed reaction product, (1) the reaction step is performed in a state that blood cells are not disrupted, and (2) at least the reaction step is performed in the presence of a sufficient amount of a detergent that does not cause hemolysis, does not inhibit reactions of the analyte with the first and second substances specifically binding to the analyte and can prevent influence on the reaction system of a component existing in the reaction system.

摘要: The inhaler has a medicine atomizing means 10, a nozzle 12 for discharging medicine atomized by said medicine atomizing means 10, and a gripping casing 14. Said casing 14 has a small-diametered cylindrical section 14a, a large-diametered cylindrical section 14b, and a bottom 14c, and is formed so as to have a bottom with its upper end side open. Furthermore, the same has a roughly gourd-shaped cross-section which connects said small-diametered cylindrical section 14a and said large-diametered cylindrical section 14b at the side thereof. Said medicine atomizing means 10 is incorporated in the large-diametered cylindrical section 14b side of the casing 14, and has a piezoelectric vibrator 10a and a vibration liquid. Said nozzle 12 is composed of a transparent rubber-based member and is attached in such a manner that the base part side is fitted to the first annular protrusion 46e of the cover 46, whereby it is possible to optionally change the discharging direction of medicine by changing the fitting state of the base part.
