Provided is a system which controls information presented to a user referring to contents including a plurality of elements, outputs the contents to an output device, obtains bioinformation of the user at a time when each of the elements included in the contents is output to the output device, calculates an understanding level of the user with respect to each of the elements included in the contents, based on each piece of the obtained bioinformation, determines the understanding type based on the calculated understanding level and a difficulty level indicated by the difficulty level information of the elements of which the understanding level is equal to or lower than a first threshold value, in a case where it is determined that the user does not understand the contents based on the calculated understanding level, and outputs the presented information which corresponds to the determined understanding type to the output device.

Provided is a technique for computing a brain function index for diagnosing a mental disorder at the individual level, which can be applied to even a child around school age. A brain function index computing device includes a brain activity value calculation processing unit configured to calculate from brain activity signals of a subject a first brain activity value of a region including the meddle frontal gyrus (MFG) and a second brain activity value of a region including the inferior frontal gyrus (IFG); and a brain function index calculation processing unit configured to calculate a brain function index associated with a mental disorder using the first brain activity value and the second brain activity value.

Provided is a technique for comprehensively understanding the relationship between brain regions. A brain connectivity analysis system herein includes a memory configured to have stored therein a connectivity analysis program for analyzing the connectivity; and a processor configured to read the connectivity analysis program from the memory and analyze the connectivity. The processor is configured to execute a process of acquiring from a storage unit measured data on a plurality of selected regions of a brain, a process of determining at least two of the plurality of regions as seed regions and calculating a plurality of connectivity features for the seed regions and other regions from the measured data on the plurality of regions, and a process of generating a connectivity feature graph showing a relationship between a transfer delay time and another connectivity feature of each region that are included in the plurality of connectivity features.

The system of the present invention stores a plurality of different mood index calculation formulae, selects one of the plurality of mood index calculation formulae based on a personal trait, for example the working memory task performance or working memory capacity of a subject, and substitutes the brain activation data of the subject for the selected calculation formula to calculate and view mood indices.
