Abstract: The present invention provides an energy emission device comprising: one or a plurality of energy emitters for emitting at least one type of energy selected from the group consisting of an electromagnetic wave or an electromagnetic stimulation, an elastic wave, an oscillatory wave and heat to at least one position of a subject selected from the group consisting of the brain, the spinal cord, the cerebrospinal fluid or the flow passage thereof and the brain cell interstitial fluid or the flow passage thereof; an energy controller for controlling an amount of energy emitted from the energy emitters; and a sensor for obtaining information relating to wakefulness and/or a sleeping state of the subject, in which the energy controller controls the amount of energy emitted depending on the information relating to the wakefulness and/or the sleeping state.

Abstract: In a biophotonic measurement device based on the principles of near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS), in order to realize appropriate conditions in any light-source/detector arrangement and various required specifications, a photoirradiation module 13 including a light source 101, a photodetection module 14 including a photodetector 102, and a central control/analysis unit 18 are provided. The central control/analysis unit 18 acquires correspondence relations between each of photodetection units and photoirradiation units by using a correspondence acquiring unit 19. The photoirradiation module 13 and the photodetection module 14 switch signal detection methods at each measurement point by utilizing an evaluation function value determined by detection output of the photodetector 102 so that the plurality of signal detection methods are mixable, and the high-precision and optimum biophotonic measurement device is realized.

Abstract: The space structure control system includes: a space structure; an artificial satellite connected to the space structure; and a propulsion device installed on the artificial satellite and configured to control an orbit and an attitude of the artificial satellite, in which the space structure includes a film-like structure, a solar reflectance control device that controls a spatial pattern of a solar reflectance in a reflecting mirror provided in the film-like structure, and a shape retaining device that is connected to the film-like structure, the propulsion device rotates the film-like structure to generate a centrifugal force, the solar reflectance control device controls a solar reflectance in the reflecting mirror to control a solar radiation pressure to be applied to the reflecting mirror, a three-dimensional shape of the film-like structure is controlled based on the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the film-like structure and the solar radiation pressure, and the shape of the film-like structure is retained or stabilized by the shape retaining device.

Abstract: Provided is a technique for comprehensively understanding the relationship between brain regions. A brain connectivity analysis system herein includes a memory configured to have stored therein a connectivity analysis program for analyzing the connectivity; and a processor configured to read the connectivity analysis program from the memory and analyze the connectivity. The processor is configured to execute a process of acquiring from a storage unit measured data on a plurality of selected regions of a brain, a process of determining at least two of the plurality of regions as seed regions and calculating a plurality of connectivity features for the seed regions and other regions from the measured data on the plurality of regions, and a process of generating a connectivity feature graph showing a relationship between a transfer delay time and another connectivity feature of each region that are included in the plurality of connectivity features.

Abstract: A watching system, which calculates a fall probability of an imaged person to be fallen using a computer which includes a processor and a memory, includes a trunk extraction unit that receives time-series skeleton information of the imaged person, calculates an angle between a head and a waist of the imaged person based on the skeleton information, extracts the angle as a trunk of the imaged person, calculates the center of the trunk as a trunk center based on trunk information set in advance, extracts a trunk to be reference as a reference trunk from a time-series trunk calculated from the time-series skeleton information, and holds a center of the reference trunk, and a fall probability calculation unit that calculates a distance between a trunk center of the reference trunk and a trunk center of the trunk as a deviation amount, and calculates the fall probability from the deviation amount.
