摘要: Skin-mountable electronic devices and methods suitable for fabricating and using the devices. One embodiment of such a device includes a flexible structure comprising a pattern of individual interconnected traces each comprising a portion of an electrically-conductive layer that overlies and directly contacts an underlying portion of an elastomeric layer. At least some of the portions of the electrically-conductive layer within the pattern are functional electrodes of the skin-mountable electronic device.

摘要: A physiological signal monitoring system comprising a pendant and a patch. The pendant includes a data store, a processor, and a cellular modem. The patch includes a cradle and electrodes mechanically and electrically connected with a flexible printed circuit board (PCB). When removably coupled with the cradle of the patch, the pendant receives from the electrodes electrical signals from a patient's heart and either stores the signals to the data store or transmits the signals. A single channel patch configuration includes two electrodes positioned at least 8.0 centimeters (CM) apart. A two channel patch configuration employs three electrodes similarly spaced. Removable auxiliary components may connect to the pendant's device interfaces, each configured to receive physiological input such as electromyogram (EMG), electroencephalogram (EEG), body temperature, heart rate, pedometer, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, respiratory rate, posture/body orientation, and sleep monitoring.

摘要: An apparatus is provided. A strip has first and second end sections, and a first surface and second surface. Two electrocardiographic electrodes are provided on the strip with one of the electrocardiographic electrodes provided on the first surface of the first end section of the strip and another of the electrocardiographic electrodes positioned on the first surface on the second end section of the strip. A flexible circuit is mounted to the second surface of the strip and includes a circuit trace electrically coupled to each of the electrocardiographic electrodes. A wireless transceiver is affixed on one of the first or second end sections, and a battery is positioned on one of the first or second end sections. A processor is positioned on one of the first or second end sections and is housed separate from the battery.

摘要: An embodiment of the invention provides an electrocardiography (ECG) signal processing device. The ECG signal processing device includes a first part, a second part and a flexible printed circuit board. The first part may comprise a first electrode and a processing circuit. The second part includes a second electrode. The flexible printed circuit board is coupled to the first part and the second part to fold the first part and the second part. When a closed loop is formed between the first electrode and the second electrode, the processing circuit obtains an ECG signal from the user.

摘要: An electronic device and a bioelectrical signal acquisition method are provided. The electronic device includes a rear housing, a plurality of first contact electrodes, and a plurality of second contact electrodes. A first contact area and a second contact area are distributed on the rear housing. The plurality of first contact electrodes/second contact electrodes are spaced on the rear housing respectively and electrically connected to each other. The first contact electrode and the second contact electrode are used for contacting with the skin respectively to form a bioelectrical signal acquisition circuit. At least one first contact electrode and at least one second contact electrode are distributed in the first contact area, and at least one first contact electrode and at least one second contact electrode are distributed in the second contact area.

摘要: Ambulatory cardiac devices for providing comfortable, long-term continuous cardiac monitoring and treatment for arrythmia conditions. Examples of a device include sensing electrodes configured to detect ECG signals of an ambulatory patient, a garment configured to be worn about the patient's thorax, and sensing electrode receptacles configured to dispose, via the garment, the sensing electrodes at predetermined anatomical locations on the patient's thorax, and maintain, via the garment, contact between the sensing electrodes and the predetermined anatomical locations despite movement of the patient's thorax. In examples, each sensing electrode receptacle forms an opening in the garment and includes a securement device configured to allow for removable installation of a sensing electrode, a lock configured to inhibit movement of the sensing electrode separate from the sensing electrode receptacle, and a guide configured to align the sensing electrode with one of the predetermined anatomical locations of the patient's thorax through the opening.

摘要: A system using combined electrocardiography (EKG) and photoplethysmography (PPG) sensing to assess intra-arterial fluid volume is described. The system uses averaging of similar pulses based on prior (n−1; n minus 1) R-to-R pulse wave duration, and prior-prior (n−2; n minus 2) R-to-R pulse wave duration, to determine a patient's fluid status and whether it is below or above optimal intravascular hydration.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses, including devices and systems, for remote and detection and/or diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). In particular, described herein are handheld and adhesive devices having an electrode configuration capable of recording three orthogonal ECG lead signals in an orientation-specific manner, and transmitting these signals to a processor. The processor may be remote or local, and it may automatically or semi-automatically detect AMI, atrial fibrillation or other heart disorders based on the analyses of the deviation of the recorded 3 cardiac signals with respect to previously stored baseline recordings.
