摘要: The present invention relates to an amino acid derivative having an angiotensin I-converting enzyme inhibition activity, a vasopressin antagonism and an atrial natriuretic peptide hydrolase inhibition activity. This amino acid derivative is represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom or an acyl group; R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an ary group which may have a substituent, a heteroaryl group which may have a substituent, an arylalkyl group which may have a substituent or a heteroarylalkyl group which may have a substituent; m and n represent each independently an integer of 0, 1 or 2 and J represents a cyclic group having an angiotensin I-converting enzyme inhibition activity.

摘要: The present invention relates to a substituted thiazolo�3,2-a!azepine derivative having inhibitory activity against angiotensin I converting enzyme and neutral endpeptidase. The above substituted thiazolo�3,2-a!azepine derivative is represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## (wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a protecting group of a thiol group; R2 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, an aryl group which may have a substituent, a hetroaryl group which may have a substituent, a lower alkoxyl group or a lower alkylthio group; R3, R4 and R5 may be the same or different from one another and represent each a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a lower alkoxyl group, a lower alkylthio group or the like, with the proviso that the case wherein all of R3, R4 and R5 are hydrogen atoms are excepted; R6 and R7 may be the same or different from each other and represent each a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group; R8 represents a hydrogen atom or a protecting group of a carboxyl group; and m and m are each independently 0 or, 1 or 2).

摘要: An epidark illumination system for use with a microscope in which a sample is illuminated from around an objective by a ring-shaped light flux having its center coincident with the optic axis of the objective to enable the sample to be observed in a dark field of view comprises a ring-shaped condenser lens member disposed adjacent to the forward end of the objective with the center of the lens member being coincident with the optic axis of the objective to condense the light flux upon the sample, and a scattering member for scattering the ring-shaped light flux disposed in the light path before the ring-shaped light flux reaches the ring-shaped condenser lens member.

摘要: Disclosed is a horizontal position detecting device for maintaining the surface of a body to be inspected vertically to the optical axis of a main objective lens. The device includes an illumination optical system and a condenser lens system. The illumination optical system supplies parallel light rays to the surface of the body from the direction oblique to the optical axis of the objective lens. The condenser lens system condenses the light rays supplied by the illumination optical system and reflected by the surface of the body. The optical axes of the illumination optical system and the condenser lens system are arranged substantially symmetrically with respect to the axis of the objective lens.
