The method includes obtaining a holographic image; determining at least one attenuation function due to motion blur from the holographic image; and correcting the holographic image, or a portion thereof, using the at least one attenuation function.

摘要: Disclosed herein are systems and methods of phase-sensitive compressed ultrafast photography (pCUP). In some embodiments, a pCUP system comprises: a dark-field imaging system, and a compressed ultrafast photography (CUP system). The dark-field imaging system may comprise a laser source configured to illuminate the subject with a laser pulse; and a beam block configured to pass laser light scattered by the subject as a first series of phase images and block laser light not scattered by the subject. The CUP system may comprise: a spatial encoding module configured to receive the first series of phase images and to produce a second series of spatially encoded phase images; and a streak camera configured to receive the second series of spatially encoded phase images, to deflect each spatially encoded phase image by a temporal deflection distance, and to integrate the deflected phase images into a single raw CUP image.

摘要: The invention relates to an optical device for measuring the position of an object along a first axis, the object being subjected to light radiations emitted by a light source. The optical device comprises: an imaging system comprising an objective for collecting light radiations diffused by the object, the imaging system having an optical axis extending parallel to the first axis; a transmission mask having at least a first aperture and a second aperture, the first aperture and second aperture being spaced from each other along a second axis, perpendicular to the first axis, the transmission mask being arranged so as to let a first part of the radiations and a second part of the radiations which are diffused by the object pass through the first aperture and the second aperture respectively, while blocking a part of the radiations emitted by the light source which is not diffused by the object; and a detector adapted for generating an image including a first spot and a second spot representative of the first part and second part of the radiations impacting the detector plane, wherein variation of the position of the object relative to the object plane of the imaging system along the first axis causes variation of a position of the first spot and of the second spot relative to each other along the second axis.

摘要: The invention relates to a light sheet microscope which comprises an illumination apparatus, which generates coherent illumination light for several illumination wavelengths, a beam-shaping module (8) for generating a light sheet from illumination light, an illumination objective (10) for the illumination of a specimen (1) with the light sheet and a detection objective (12) for imaging light which is emitted by the specimen onto a laminar detector, wherein the optical axis of the detection objective (12) forms an angle different from 0° and 180° with the optical axis of the illumination objective (10).In such a light sheet microscope, the beam-shaping module (8) comprises a phase-selective element (19) on which several selection areas (20) separated from each other spatially are arranged, wherein in each case one selection area (20) is assigned to one specific illumination wavelength, and wherein a phase distribution predefined for the respective illumination wavelength is impressed on each selection area (20). In addition, the beam-shaping module (8) comprises means for the sequential or simultaneous selection of the selection areas (20) in dependence on the respective illumination wavelength.

摘要: A microscope includes: a sample placement part having a placement surface on which to place a sample and a bottom face opposite to the placement surface; an observation lens; and an optical unit for generating sheet light and use of the microscope. The microscope of an embodiment is arranged such that the sheet light enters the sample placement part from the bottom face and passing through the sample placement part to irradiate the sample, and fluorescence from the sample passes through the sample placement part toward the bottom face to be received by the observation lens. The microscope can, with this arrangement, utilize the advantages of a SPIM, and allows observation of a sample which observation is free from a restriction of the size of a sample.

摘要: A scanner and an attenuated total reflection (ATR) objective for use in such scanners are disclosed. The ATR objective includes first and second optical elements and an input port. The input port receives an input collimated light beam that is focused to a point on a planar face of the first optical element by the second optical element such that substantially all of that portion is reflected by the planar face and no portion of the input beam strikes the planar face at an angle less than the critical angle. The second optical element also generates an output collimated light beam from light reflected from the planar thce that is characterized by a central ray that is coincident with the central ray of the input collimated light beam. A light beam converter receives the first collimated light beam and generates the input collimated light beam therefrom.

Characteristics of at least one particle (3), which is detected with regard to imaging, are compared to characteristics of a characteristics collection for determining the detected particle (3). The image acquisition is effected with darkfield technology and a light-sensitive pixel comprises several subpixels which are used for image acquisition.
