An opening can be formed to extend into a semiconductor material, and an upper periphery of the opening can be protected with a liner while a lower periphery is unlined. The unlined portion can then be etched to form a widened region of the opening. Subsequently, the opening can be filled with insulative material to form an isolation region. Transistor devices can then be formed on opposing sides of the isolation region, and electrically isolated from one another with the isolation region. The invention also includes semiconductor constructions containing an electrically insulative isolation structure extending into a semiconductor material, with the structure having a bulbous bottom region and a stem region extending upwardly from the bottom region to a surface of the semiconductor material.

When an audio component is connected to an electronic device, the device determines the code and can set certain parameters (e.g., audio playback volume) and/or provide at least some level of access to functionality and data. The control module also includes one or more buttons that enable a user to provide an input sequence that can act as a personal code. When the electronic device receives the personal code and verifies that the code is associated with the identifying code of the audio component, the electronic device can provide access to additional and/or all functionality on the device, and any or all data stored for the user or device. The sequence can correspond to a beat pattern or musical sequence entered using the buttons.

    摘要: When making a payment with an electronic payment type, a user may provide additional verification of ownership through communications with the user's mobile computing device. For example, the user may swipe her bank card at a retailer's store. The retailer may authorize the bank card through an issuing party (“host”). The host may transmit a request to the user via a mobile application running on the mobile computing device, which may request the user to approve or decline the purchase request. In various embodiments, the host's request may require the user to enter personal and/or authorization information (e.g., a PIN, password, biometrics, etc.) via the mobile application to approve the request. In some aspects, the host may allow the user to split or allocate a payment amount across one or more electronic payment types available to the user from the host via the mobile application during the authorization process.

    摘要: A fully assembled, totally disposable one-piece device for the sanitary collection and disposal of feces from an animal or pet intended to be discarded after one use. The device includes a plastic bag with handles attached to a cardboard shovel blade. The plastic bag is open at the end opposite the shovel blade. The open end of the bag is partially turned inside-out as it slips over the operator's hand and up the wrist and forearm. Once the animal waste is shoveled up, the bag is pulled completely inside-out over the mouth of the shovel completely encapsulating the blade and feces. The open end is tied utilizing the handles providing for easy carrying. The entire device is then discarded.
