Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a bit-forwarding ingress router, a bit-forwarding router, and an OAM test method, and pertain to the field of multicast networks. A first BFR receives an OAM request packet from a BFIR; the first BFR determines, according to the OAM request packet, that a destination BFR corresponding to the OAM request packet is the first BFR; and the first BFR obtains a first OAM response packet according to an ID of the BFIR, and sends the first OAM response packet to the BFIR. According to the method and the apparatus that are provided in the embodiments of this application, a problem that a BFIR cannot diagnose or handle a transmission fault when the fault occurs during transmission of a multicast packet can be resolved, which helps implement connectivity testing by using an OAM packet and enables testing of multiple BFERs.

Abstract: A packet processing method, a network node, and a system includes obtaining, by a first network node, a first packet that includes a segment list, where the segment list includes a segment identifier of a network node on a path used to forward the first packet, obtaining, by the first network node, a segment identifier of a second network node from the segment list, where the second network node is a next-hop segment node of the first network node on the path, replacing, by the first network node, a destination address of the first packet with the segment identifier of the second network node, and adding a network performance parameter of the first network node to the segment list to generate a second packet, and sending, by the first network node, the second packet to the second network node.

Abstract: A network performance parameter sending method includes: obtaining, by a first network node, a segment identifier of a second network node in a segment list of a packet, where the second network node is a next-hop segment node of the first network node on a forwarding path of the packet; and adding, by the first network node, a network performance parameter of the first network node to the segment list, and then sending the packet to the second network node. The method includes: for a congested first link on a first forwarding node, selecting, by a network device, a packet flow forwarded by using the first link; selecting a second link that may be used to forward the packet flow and that is not congested after available bandwidth of the second link is occupied by the packet flow, where the second link is a link between the first forwarding node and a second forwarding node; selecting a first hash gene corresponding to the second link; determining that a third link is not in a congested state after available bandwidth of the third link is occupied by the packet flow; and saving the first hash gene in a source node of the packet flow, where the third link is a link that is on the second forwarding node.

Abstract: An information synchronization method includes sending, by a controller, a first message to a network device, where the first message carries control routing protocol (CRP) routing entry information, and is used to advertise a CRP route, and the first message includes first identification information, and after receiving the first message, storing, by a forwarding device, the CRP routing entry information into a CRP routing table of the network device as indicated by the first identification information. Hence, because a route advertised by the controller and a route advertised using a routing protocol between forwarding devices are stored in different routing tables, a related application of the route advertised using the routing protocol between the forwarding devices is not affected.
