摘要： An apparatus and method for generating a codebook in a wireless communication system are disclosed. The codebook generation method includes determining one or more dominant singular vectors in a channel matrix for antennas and setting each of the dominant singular vectors as a random non-zero vector, generating a first codebook having codewords, a minimum distance between the code-words being maximized, using the random non-zero vector in a region that includes unit norm vectors each having a Euclidean distance to each of the dominant singular vectors, equal to or less than a predetermined value, generating a second codebook corresponding to a unitary matrix that rotates the random non-zero vector toward the dominant singular vectors, and generating a final codebook using the first and second codebooks.

The UE apparatus includes a processor for determining a Rank Indicator (RI) for a predefined frequency band and selecting an index of a Precoding Matrix Indicator (PMI) corresponding to the determined RI from a codebook set used for a transmission on the predefined frequency band, and a transmission antenna for transmitting the RI and the index of the PMI to a Base Station (BS). The RI and the index of the PMI are jointly encoded prior to the transmission.

摘要： An apparatus for performing coordinated multiple point (CoMP) communication using a precoded sounding reference signal, and a method for same are discussed. The method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a base station receiving, from a terminal in a neighboring cell, a sounding reference signal (SRS) precoded by a first matrix; acquiring an effective neighboring channel matrix using a hermitian matrix of the first matrix from the received SRS, and a downstream link channel matrix between the terminal and base station; and determining a precoding matrix to be transmitted to one or more terminals served by the base station on the basis of the effective neighboring channel matrix. Here, the effective neighboring channel matrix indicates a direction toward which a receiving beam should be directed such that the terminal can receive data from a serving base station thereof.

A method for receiving a downlink signal at a relay node in a wireless communication system, the method comprising receiving downlink control information by demodulating a R-PDCCH of a first RB pair based on a downlink channel estimated by a DMRS in the first resource block (RB) pair; and receiving downlink data by demodulating a PDSCH of the one or more RB pairs contiguous to the first RB pair based on a downlink channel estimated by a DMRS in the one or more RB pairs, wherein, if the PDSCH is assigned to the first RB pair, the downlink channel is estimated on the assumption that the same precoder is applied to one RB bundle including the first RB pair and the one or more RB pairs.
