摘要: The invention provides a system and method for virtual world biometric analytics through the use of a multimodal biometric analytic wallet. The system includes a virtual biometric wallet comprising a pervasive repository for storing biometric data, the pervasive repository including at least one of a biometric layer, a genomic layer, a health layer, a privacy layer, and a processing layer. The virtual biometric wallet further comprises an analytic environment configured to combine the biometric data from at least one of the biometric layer, the genomic layer, the health layer, the privacy layer, and the processing layer. The virtual biometric wallet also comprises a biometric analytic interface configured to communicate the biometric data to one or more devices within a virtual universe.

摘要: One or more programs in a computing environment of a first service provider obtain an indication from a portion of an infrastructure of a second service provider, where the portion of the infrastructure has available computing capacity, and where the portion of an infrastructure includes at least one component. The one or more programs determine if the first service provider can deploy the portion as a portion of services deployed from the first service provider and based on making the determination that the first service provider can deploy the portion of the infrastructure, the one or more programs register the portion of the infrastructure to make it available for deployment by the first service provider. The one or more programs provision the at least one component for deployment by the first service provider in a service that includes the at least one component.

摘要: The system and method generally relate to reducing heat dissipated within a data center, and more particularly, to a system and method for reducing heat dissipated within a data center through service level agreement analysis, and resultant reprioritization of jobs to maximize energy efficiency. A computer implemented method includes performing a service level agreement (SLA) analysis for one or more currently processing or scheduled processing jobs of a data center using a processor of a computer device. Additionally, the method includes identifying one or more candidate processing jobs for a schedule modification from amongst the one or more currently processing or scheduled processing jobs using the processor of the computer device. Further, the method includes performing the schedule modification for at least one of the one or more candidate processing jobs using the processor of the computer device.

摘要: A method and system for improving a machine learning multimedia conversion process is provided. The method includes automatically connecting hardware devices to a server hardware device. Audio and/or video data from a meeting between individuals is recorded form a location and each individual is identified via sensor data. Attributes for each user are identified and the audio and/or video data is converted to text data. Portions of the text data are analyzed and associated with each individual. Action items in the text data are identified and assigned to the individuals based on the attributes. Self-learning software code for executing future multimedia conversion processes is generated based on the assigning and the self-learning software code is modified based on results of executing the future multimedia conversion processes.

摘要: Embodiments described herein provide approaches for associating a user identity to a wireless signal based on information received at an access point. Specifically, when a first user presents a set of user credentials to a physical access point, his/her profile is accessed to authenticate the first user. A set of wireless signals emanating from one or more wireless devices operated by the first user is also received at the physical access point and associated with the first user. Information about the first user may then be broadcast and accessed by a second user (e.g., via his/her mobile device) in proximity to the first user and in receipt of the set of wireless signals associated with the first user.

Based on information received from monitoring devices or tools that monitor a state of a user, a model of a cognitive focus of attention of the user is generated. An actual QoS for a software application is determined. Based on the model, a perceived QoS is determined. A current usage by the user of software application is determined. Based on the model, the actual QoS, and the current usage, an adjustment to the actual QoS is determined, while maintaining unchanged the perceived QoS.

摘要: A usage history for a mobile device is determined. The usage history is based upon historical analytics for a user. A battery reserve in the mobile device is monitored. Whether a threshold battery reserve for a battery in the mobile device, based upon the monitored battery reserve, is determined. In response to determining that a threshold battery reserve for the battery in the mobile device has been met, a power save mode is implemented for the mobile device to reduce battery consumption by the mobile device based on the determined usage history. The power save mode includes utilizing at least one of a battery partition and a second battery.
