摘要: Refining an ecological niche model (ENM) associated with a geospatial location includes developing a fluid dynamics model based on measurements generated by a device deployed into fluid flows of the geospatial location. The measurements include temperature and velocity field, depth and particle transport measurements. The refining further includes refining and running the fluid dynamics model using measurements regenerated from the device being redeployed into the fluid flows to produce an output. This output is descriptive of fluid dynamics at the geospatial location and input into the ENM. The ENM is run to produce a baseline ENM output descriptive of a probability of a species existing at the geospatial location. In addition, the ENM is run with a limnologic modification to produce a predictive ENM output descriptive of a predictive probability of the species existing at the geospatial location that is comparable to the baseline ENM output.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and system for enacting various driving profiles based on identifying the age and gender of the user. Initially, identifying information is acquired from a user of a vehicle. An identification program determines whether the driver is known, by comparing the identifying information to a set of stored identifying information. If the driver of the vehicle is known, as the identifying information from the user is similar to stored identifying information, then a specific driver profile associated with the specific driver is activated. If the driver is not known, as the identifying information from the user of the vehicle is not similar to the stored identifying information, then the age and gender of the user of the vehicle is determined. Based on the determined age and gender of the driver of the vehicle, various vehicle setting ranges are enacted.

A time and a location of content accesses in the local cache are tracked. Prefetching heuristics are determined based on patterns of the time and the location of the content accesses. The prefetching heuristics are applied to speculatively prefetch additional content prior to the computing device receiving a request to access the additional content.

Aspects of the embodiments further include, based on detecting that the point of gaze has returned to the region, commencing by the processor the displaying at the previous component and continuing to display successive components of the textual data.

摘要: Migration of virtual machines within a computing environment is facilitated. A processor obtains a current virtual machine to host mapping in the computing environment, as well as a plurality of future virtual machine to host mappings. A current migration plan to migrate from a current state of the computing environment to another state of the computing environment is also obtained. Based on the current virtual machine to host mapping and one or more future virtual machine to host mappings of the plurality of future virtual machine to host mappings a determination is made that one or more potential alert conditions exist in the current migration plan. The current migration plan and/or one or more future virtual machine to host mappings are displayed. The current migration plan is adjusted to address at least one potential alert condition of the one or more potential alert conditions to improve processing within the computing environment.
