    摘要: Computational fluid dynamics modeling of a bounded domain is provided which includes solving iteratively a computational fluid dynamics model of the bounded domain using mass flow boundary conditions that are specified. The solving includes automatically adjusting the specified mass flow boundary conditions for at least one iteration of the solving. The automatically adjusting includes mass balancing flows at a boundary of the bounded domain to provide corrected mass flow boundary conditions for the solving. The mass balancing includes applying different corrections to mass in-flow across the domain boundary, compared with mass out-flow across the boundary. The mass balancing may include multiplying mass in-flows across the boundary by (1−CF), and mass out-flows across the boundary by (1+CF), where CF is a determined correction factor, and net mass flow is positive for mass out-flow exiting the domain, and negative for mass in-flow entering the domain.

    摘要: Disclosed aspects relate to cooling electronics. A set of recirculation flaps is coupled with a cooling fan. At least one recirculation flap has a ferrous material. In various embodiments, the set of recirculation flaps is arranged in an open position in response to air pressure from the cooling fan, and is arranged in a closed position in response to substantially no air pressure from the cooling fan. A controller is coupled with the cooling fan. The controller indicates a set of indicated positions for the set of recirculation flaps based on a tachometer value. An electromagnet is connected with the controller to position the set of recirculation flaps in the set of indicated positions using the ferrous material. In various embodiments, the electromagnet engages the ferrous material to arrange the set of recirculation flaps in an open position.

    摘要: A hybrid computational fluid dynamics (CFD) approach is provided for modeling a bounded domain by processing the domain to automatically locate a viscous region(s) by: dividing the domain into cells and determining flow characteristic values for cells; defining characteristic cutoff values using multiple cutoff percentiles of cells and the flow characteristic values, and defining ranges between cutoff values, and respective χ values, where one χ value is a highest χ value R; assigning χ values to cells based on the determined flow characteristic values in comparison to the cutoffs; selectively increasing the assigned χ value of a cell(s) sharing a border with a seed cell having χ value R; identifying a viscous region where multiple contiguous cells have assigned χ values equal or above a threshold; evaluating the viscous region(s) by performing viscous domain solve; and providing a model of the domain using results of the viscous domain solve.

    摘要: An anti-counterfeiting technique presents, to a test thermoreflective mark at a first temperature, a first electromagnetic wave. A first test reflective profile for the test thermoreflective mark associated with the first temperature is recorded. A second electromagnetic wave is presented to the test thermoreflective mark at a second temperature. A second test reflective profile for the test thermoreflective mark associated with the second temperature is recorded. The first test reflective profile is compared with a first control reflective profile that is associated with a genuine thermoreflective mark. The second test reflective profile is compared with a second control reflective profile that is associated with the genuine thermoreflective mark.
