摘要： A rotary atomizing electrostatic coating apparatus includes air feed passages connected to an air bearing, a turbine, and a shaping air cap, respectively. In any one of air feed passages, a divergence portion for causing a portion of air flowing in the one air feed passage to diverge from the one air feed passage is formed so that a diverging air flows into an interior of the drive shaft. As a result, it is not necessary to provide an additional, air feed passage and an air source therefor for preventing paint from entering a bearing clearance between the drive shaft and the air motor. As a result, a size of the apparatus will not be large and a cost of the apparatus will not substantially increase.

摘要： An image forming apparatus connectable to a first feed tray and a second feed tray includes an image forming unit, a feed path, and a detecting unit provided on the feed path to sense recording medium jam. An identifying unit identifies a feed path and a feed tray where recording medium jam has occurred as a jammed path and a jamming feed tray. A first determining unit determines whether the image forming apparatus is connected to the second feed tray. A second determining unit determines whether the second feed tray can feed a recording medium to the image forming unit. A feeding unit feeds a recording medium from the second feed tray to the image forming unit.

摘要： An image recording system in which an object image is caused to be formed on a solid state image transducer such as CCD each time a release is actuated, and the image signal stored on said image transducer is recorded as a video signal, thus a single frame image is recorded for each release. By controlling the storing operation of the image signal and the like, the exposure level for the image signal is adjusted to make it possible always to record and reproduce the image with regard to an optimum exposure state.

摘要： A digital camera with five automatic exposure modes is provided with corresponding individual cards upon selective insertion into the camera to effect the operation of either or both of the shutter and diaphragm in accordance with the digital output of a computer through logic selection circuits as the mode information on the inserted card is read into a binary coded decimal counter controlling operation of the logic circuits. When the card is absent from the camera, a first controlling push button for sequential display of the modes is rendered effective to pass a pulse train to the counter so that upon release of the button, the current mode displayed can be set. The card further includes information relating to the determination of whether or not to give a sound warning signal which occurs, in one embodiment, when the film nears the terminal end of footage. In another embodiment, the buzzer is utilized to assist in releasing not only a first but also an additional three buttons for setting exposure factors and a number of film frames available just after a desired symbol or digital value appears in the display as they are sequentially presented.

摘要： A camera performing a film winding action with an electric wind-up mechanism and producing a winding completion signal upon completion of each film winding action. A counter and a discriminating circuit are reset by a back cover closing signal produced when a back cover of the camera is closed to have the counter count the winding completion signals. When both the winding completion signal and an output signal of the discriminating circuit representative of the initial state thereof are obtained, an electromagnetic release mechanism is automatically actuated to carry out an exposure action. Upon completion of the exposure action, the film winding action of the electric wind-up mechanism is performed. When the counter has counted a predetermined count value, the discriminating circuit is inverted by a count output of the counter to automatically render the electromagnetic release mechanism inoperative.

摘要： An electronic flash apparatus is provided with a display element positioned in the view-finder of a photographic camera so that the operator is immediately aware if the flash tube has been fired in response to the closure of the synchronous switch. The light emitting operation of this display element is controlled by use of a signal generator arranged to be responsive to the occurrence of discharge through the flash tube of the flash apparatus. With this apparatus, therefore, the operator may rely upon the appearance of this display element to insure that the firing is effected by the flash apparatus even when the object-to-camera distance is relatively small.
