    摘要: The present invention relates to a recording disc reproducing device wherein a disc like recording medium is held in a disc case having an opening at one end thereof, for insertion and removal of the disc like recording medium. The disc like recording medium remains inside the body of the device after pulling out the disc case which has been inserted to a predetermined position in the body of the device. The opening of the disc case inserted into the body of the device is expanded to be opened by an opening mechanism and after the disc case has been inserted part way into the device the disc case is secured by a latch connected to the opening mechanism. Further movement of the disc case into the device is possible after the latch engages the disc case.

    摘要: A disk clamping mechanism for disk recording and reproducing devices of the type in which when a disk cartridge with a disk enclosed therein is inserted into the device the disk clamping mechanism is actuated to clamp the raised groove guard formed around the rim of the disk so that when the cartridge is pulled out of the device the disk remains therein. The clamping mechanism includes a pair of clamping fingers with projections adapted for engagement with the groove guard when the forces pulling out the cartridge are transmitted to the disk. A linkage or a mechanism comprising a wedge and tapered surfaces is operatively connected to the clamping fingers in such a way that when a pulling force is exerted on the disk and the clamping fingers, the linkage or mechanism causes the clamping arms or fingers to move further toward each other, thus exerting a stronger clamping force on the disk.

With this arrangement, a refrigerating cycle operation can be stably realized in a wide range without almost changing the arrangement of a conventional refrigerating apparatus.

    摘要: A method of manufacturing a preform for compounding use which, is to be impregnated with a molten metal to be compounded with a matrix material, is provided. The method includes the step of mixing short fibers, ceramic particles and a binder material together to make a mixture. The average of lengths of the short fibers is 100 to 200 &mgr;m while the volumetric percentage of the short fibers is 1 to 7%. The content of the binder material in the mixture is 0.3 to 5.0 mass %. The method includes also the steps of forming the mixture so as to have a predetermined shape, and sintering the mixture at a temperature of 1000 to 1150° C. to form the preform. Thus, it is restrained that the preform is deformed or an un-reinforced region is formed in the compounded portion.
