    摘要: A display system includes a display panel, a panel driving part, an image processing part, a timing control part and a light source part. The display panel displays an image. The image processing part includes a synchronization part that synchronizes a plurality of image signals respectively corresponding to a plurality of contents with each other, a scaling part that respectively scales the image signals into a plurality of image frames having a resolution of the display panel and that sequentially outputs the image frames, and an additional generating part that outputs the image frames respectively corresponding to each of the image frames received from the scaling part. The timing control part provides the image frames respectively corresponding to the contents to the panel driving part. The light source part generates a light and provides the light to the display panel.

    摘要: A method of displaying a stereoscopic image provides first light having a first wavelength and second light having a second wavelength different from the first wavelength to the a display panel according to left-eye and right-eye images displayed on the display panel. Color correcting data are generated by correcting at least one of left-eye color data corresponding to the left-eye image and right-eye color data corresponding to the right-eye image such that a first color coordinate according to the first light and a second color coordinate according to the second light coincide with each other with respect to the same color. The left-eye and right-eye images are displayed using light having wavelengths different from each other, so that a display quality of the stereoscopic image may be enhanced.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display with improved response time and a method of making such display are presented. The invention improves the quality of moving images. The display includes a plurality of pixels, an image signal modifier for generating a preliminary signal based on a previous image signal and a current image signal and generating a modified image signal based on the preliminary signal and a next image signal, and a data driver for changing the modified image signal from the image signal modifier into a data voltage and supplying it to the pixels. The value of the modified image signal is set according to the magnitude of the next image signal.

    摘要: A signal processing device includes a memory in which a color correction data is stored. The memory stores a first color correction data having the same number of bits as an input image data and a second color correction data having fewer number of bits than the input image data. The number of color correction data corresponding to a low gray-scale range increases and the number of color correction data corresponding to a high gray-scale range decreases by the same amount that the number of the color correction data corresponding to the low gray-scale range increased. Thus, a color characteristic corresponding to the low gray-scale range may be improved without changing the total number of color correction data.

Therefore, the size of the memory may be decreased while the accuracy is improved.
