    摘要: The invention relates to a polymerisable liquid mixture comprising: (a) a polymerisable thermosetting composition which is a precursor by polymerisation of a first thermoset polymer material, said composition containing at least one polythiol and/or one polyol, preferably a polythiol, and at least one polyiso(thio)cyanate; and (b) a second polymer material solubilised in the aforementioned polymerisable thermosetting composition, whereby the second material (i) contains at least one block copolymer comprising at least two polymer blocks A and B, namely an elastomer block A and a hydrophilic block B, and, following polymerisation of the polymerisable mixture, (ii) forms domains which are rich in elastomer block A and which are dispersed throughout the first material, said domains being smaller than 80 nanometers and preferably smaller than 50 nanometers. The invention also relates to a transparent article having improved toughness, which is produced by means of polymerisation of the above-mentioned polymerisable mixture, comprising an alloy of a first thermoset polymer material forming the matrix of said article and of a second polymer material which is dispersed throughout said first material. The aforementioned articles have improved resistance to impact and to crack propagation. The invention is suitable for use in ophthalmic optics.

    摘要: A polymer composition comprises at least one thermoplastic polymer selected from the group formed by polyetherimides and polysulphones and at least one epoxy resin modified by at least one aromatic polyamine. The epoxy resin is formed from at least one polyepoxide containing at least 2 epoxy groups in its molecule and the aromatic polyamine contains at least two primary amine groups in its molecule and preferably at least one alkyl substituent containing 1 to 12 carbon atoms located alpha to one of the amino groups. The molar ratio of the polyamine to the epoxy is such that, each amino group corresponds to 1.6 to 2.6 epoxy groups. The thermoplastic polymer content is preferably about 15% to 98% by weight with respect to the total weight of the polymer composition; the amount of epoxy resin modified by at least one aromatic polyamine is about 2% to 85% by weight with respect to the total weight of the polymer composition. These polymer compositions can be prepared in the molten state, without a solvent, at a temperature of about 100° C. to 250° C.

    摘要: The invention concerns a thermosetting elastomer composition based on modified polycyanurate with improved thermal resistance obtainable by a polymerization method in the presence of a catalyst (D) of a mixture comprising at least: (A) a cyanate, (B) a block copolymer consisting of: a) at least a central block (B1) non-miscible with the cyanate and sufficiently long to provide the composition with elastomeric character; and b) at least two terminal blocks (B2) located on each side of the central block and comprising groups reactive with the cyanate, each of the blocks (B2) being sufficiently long to be miscible with the cyanate; and (C) a mineral filler reactive with the cyanate, in proportions such that the ratio r is not less than 5, but remains less than a threshold value to avoid phase inversion, said method comprising steps which consist in: I) mixing (A), (B), (C) and (D) until a homogeneous mixture is obtained at a temperature higher than the melting point of (A) and of (B) but lower than about 130° C.; II) polymerizing the mixture at a temperature ranging between about 130 and about 170° C.; III) post-curing the polymerized mixture at a temperature not lower than about 200° C. to complete the reaction; the values of dsrupt and of derupt of the resulting composition being not more than +−30%. The invention also concerns the method for preparing said composition and its use.
