Abstract: An ophthalmic drug delivery device and a method for fabricating the same are provided. The ophthalmic drug delivery device includes a shield element and a drug release element. The shield element has a light transmittance more than or equal to 80%. The drug release element is an annular body so that the drug release element surrounds the shield element. The drug release element is neutral and includes a cross-linked neutral collagen, a first hydrophilic biodegradable polymer and a drug. The shield element is acidic and includes a cross-linked acidic collagen and a second hydrophilic biodegradable polymer.

Abstract: A method for preparing a bifunctional film, including: (a) drying a first polymer solution to form a film to form an anti-adhesion layer, and (b) drying a second polymer solution over the anti-adhesion layer to form a film to form an attachment layer. The first polymer solution includes a first hydrophobic solution and a first hydrophilic solution, and in the first polymer solution, the weight ratio of the solute of the first hydrophobic solution to the solute of the first hydrophilic solution is 1:0.01-1. Moreover, the second polymer solution is composed of a second hydrophilic solution.

Abstract: A non-fibrous film of which the composition includes a collagen and a polyester polymer is provided. A content of the polyester polymer in the non-fibrous film is 1-60 wt %. Moreover, the non-fibrous film has a swelling rate of 1-200 μm/hour or a swelling proportion per unit time of 0.1-2%/hour in an aqueous liquid.
