Abstract:
Some demonstrative embodiments include devices, systems and methods of mapping a wireless local area network access point to a sink device. For example, a source device may include a radio to establish a peer to peer connection over a wireless communication channel between the source device and a sink device, the peer to peer connection to communicate from the source device to the sink device content to be displayed on a display device; and a controller to receive mapping information to map the sink device to a WLAN AP, the controller to communicate WLAN traffic with the WLAN AP during the peer to peer connection.
Abstract:
Disclosed in some examples are methods, systems, devices, and machine readable mediums which provide for device discovery and P2P negotiation in infrastructure mode and then a transition to P2P mode. This allows devices to take advantage of the robustness and improved device discovery of infrastructure mode and the reduced latency of P2P mode.
Abstract:
Embodiments are generally directed to audio augmentation of touch detection for surfaces. An apparatus may include a pedestal, the pedestal including an audio sensor to detect a vibration from a surface on which the apparatus is placed; an arm coupled with the pedestal; and a head element coupled with the arm, wherein the head element includes a visual sensor to detect location of an object in relation to the surface.
Abstract:
The present disclosure pertains to a sound generation device with proximity control. In general, a device may include sound generation functionality that may be controlled based on proximity sensing. The device may be, for example, a lighting device including circuitry to generate sound based on audio data received from a source outside of the device. Sensing circuitry in the device may generate sensor data that indicates when a user is proximate to the device. Control circuitry in the device may then control the sound generation based on sensor data. Various operations in the device may be based on the sensor data indicating that a user is proximate to the device, the identity of the user, that a certain condition has occurred, etc.

Abstract:
Methods and systems may provide for generating text based on speech input and recognizing one or more hand gestures. Additionally, an adaptation of the text may be conducted based on the hand gestures. In one example, the hand gestures are associated with operations such as punctuation insertion operations, cursor movement operations, text selection operations, capitalization operations, pause of speech recognition operations, resume of speech recognition operations, application-specific actions, and so forth, wherein the adaptation of the text includes the associated operation.
